That should be: sudo ln -s CurrentJDK 1.4.1 not the other way around. [alert admin]

IBM ViaVoice 3.0.2 (Mac OS X)
Although it's ridiculously slow on an iBook 800, 640MB; It is practically unusable outside of its own dictation application. For microphone recognition problems, see http://knowledgebase.scansoft.com/view.asp?tnID=5360 [alert admin]

WirelessDriver 1.0.0b5 (Mac OS X)
Read <http://wirelessdriver.sourceforge.net/faq.html#supported> before trying. Also check the forum <http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?forum_id=3055> for additional tips on cards - e.g. the Linksys WPC11 v.4 (rev.d) doesn't work, but earlier ones do. [alert admin]

iSwipe 1.5b1 (Mac OS X)
With the incorporation of Mlnet and OpenFT, iSwipe has finally become the product it always tried to be: the best multi-network P2P client. I can finally get rid of my separate clients and just use this one. [alert admin]

iLaunch 0.1 (Mac OS X)
It should autodetect mail addresses and google searches; anything with a space is a google search, anything with an @ is an email. [alert admin]

MLdonkey 2.04 (Mac OS X)
good, but it will plug away day and night until the file is retrieved. The edonkey network is unparalleled in getting the files you need, especially large ones. With sharereactor and jigle, almost anything can be acquired. BTW, the command line or web versions don't require GTK or X11 [alert admin]

My Favorites Martian 1.8 (Mac OS X)
is somewhat misleading - this is a "publish and subscribe" program, NOT a "syncing" program. As the former, it works great. As the latter, it doesn't work at all. [alert admin]

PodWorks 1.1.1 (Mac OS X)
shareware restriction, not a bug. Once registered, you can select (and therefore copy) multiple songs. When copying, you should have an option for filing just by "Album" without "Artist" - esp. for Compilations. [alert admin]
