Letter Opener 2.1.0 (Mac OS X)

But…

I know that the subject 'price' is always conflictive and very subjective. The app does indeed what it says and, for me, it has worked flawlessly. There is indeed a lot of hard working hours of software development. And I would have no problem in recommending it. But… Personally, I REPEAT, personally, I find 20 bucks for a plug-in a bit stiff… [By the way, how can I uninstall the plug-in? There is no info available…] [alert admin]

Invoy 1.0.2 (Mac OS X)

This is what Mac software is all about!

Intuitive, clean and easy to use UI (user interface). Powerfull app. On top of this, the app works like a charm, no crashes. Developpers are helpful and prompt in their replies, either to assist you or to add any improvements. This is what you were looking for your home-office, office or studio for billing and invoicing: small footprint in terms of hardware resources, great integration with other OS services, easy to use, fantastice price. Mac developpers should put their eye on this software and follow this developpers example. Six stars! [alert admin]

What is this?

Hello all. Could someone explain the purpose of this application? What is 'card sorting' and what is it used for? There is no answer even on iPragma's site… Cheers. [alert admin]

PeaceMaker 1.0.4 (Mac OS X)

PeaceMaker will not be a Moneymaker for ImpactGames

Gameplay durability did not last 24 hours! Despite having bought the game just yesterday, playablity it totally drained after 2 games. Each game takes about 20-25 minutes and then… ends… literally. Winning gives you the most empty feelling and leaves you thinking: "Is that it?" Being very observant of the situation in the Middle East I approached the game open-minded and without prejudice knowing that it was a huge risk to buy it based on the three turns that the demo mode allows. Huge mistake. Gameplay is based on triggers. "Good actions" lead to good results. Random events undermine worlds opinion regarding your regime, so they will not finance your projects. Lack of projects means you cannot get internal and external approval which is, once again, condition to investors. Limited gameplay, limited playability. The developpers must have known it was a pretty flimsy game, hence the demo mode being limited to 3 turns. It was the worst money I have ever spent on computer games… Way too expensive for what you get for. Oh! And what's with the 200MB of DL? You just don't run across them!! Stay away! [alert admin]

Same situation as johnharbo

Except that I have an Intel iMac and I don't have Boot Camp installed. Thing is Acrobat did run on my setup. I believe that one of Apple's updates caused some kind of incompatibility with Acrobat. Acrobat freezes the whole system and the solution is to hard reset. Yesterday I reinstalled OS and today I reinstalled Acrobat. Same situation. I'm pretty certain it's a software issue generated by Apple. [alert admin]

MyResolution 1.0 (Mac OS X)

Useful? Nope…

In my personal opinion—and it is not my intent to attack the author in any form—I may understand the usefulness of the software as a programming exercise: how to program a widget, collect system info, etc. However, its usefulness is totally nonexistent for the user. Perhaps it would have been better to have it posted on a programming forum and not in VT. [alert admin]

Boy, tough crowd...

Thanks for yor your insight, Andrew. But as I started my post, IT WAS MY PERSONAL OPINION on the software. I do know that I don't have to use it. And I never said that no one would find it useful. I expressed MY OPINION. Cheers.
