Clipboard Evolved 0.86D (Mac OS X)
Just Another Basic Clipboard Utility
I've tried them all! Unfortunately not one can replace the ultimate one, which was iSnip. I'd like to see categories for frequently pasted items and everything done right from the Menu Bar instead some window that seems to be stuck to Space 1. [alert admin]

VueScan 8.4.78 (Mac OS X)
Crashes under Leopard vs. stable 8.4.52
I had to go back to version 8.4.52 after trying 8.4.77 and 8.4.88. Whenever I change a setting, the application crashes. I'm using the latest OS 10.5.4, PPC, Pacific Image 3650 PowerSlide Scanner. 8.4.52 seems to have been the first version to work with this scanner and it works well. Funny that the trouble started after paying for the Pro version. [alert admin]

Web Snapper 2.2 (Mac OS X)
A Better Solution Than Web Snapper
In Leopard you can "Save to PDF" any webpage with the Command + PP stroke, if you do the following: Go to System Preferences-->Keyboard & Mouse-->Application Keyboard Shortcuts-->All Applications Click the "+" in the left corner to add a Shortcut Enter "Save to PDF…" ( the three dots are created with Option + ;) in Menu Title Field Enter "Command + P" in Keyboard Shortcut Field Click "Add" Now when you want to save a webpage to PDF (the only logical file format) you just click Command + P+P (double the P) and you are right in the "Save to PDF..." window of Leopard. This method allows you to save a webpage "paginated". (if you still need more detail you can look it up here: http://www.macsparky.com/2008/03/18/keyboard-shortcut-for-save-as-pdf-in-os-x/ ) If you need to save a webpage as one complete page you can have this feature by installing Saft (which gives you a whole load of "Safari-improving" features on top of "Save to PDF...") just by right-clicking on any webpage and choosing "Save to PDF...". No need to clutter your Safari Toolbar, or worse having to load/search for the Web Snapper application window to drag the URL to. [alert admin]

AppDelete 2.0 (Mac OS X)
therefore I suggest that the author lists it under Leopard as compatible. I did a search and could not find it just in the Leopard section. The other suggestion would be that the Log Window opens right away when pressing the Log button, instead of pressing it again to View the log, which everyone will likely want to do before deleting anything anyway. Saves us one unnecessary click. [alert admin]

MainMenu 1.7.3 (Mac OS X)
System Maintenance the Macintosh Way ![]()

If you are confused by the bloated, cluttered System Maintenance Utilities out there, that take too much time to start up and navigate through, you should give this one a try. Beside all the maintenance tasks it also lets you restart the Dock, and Menu Bar, Relaunch the Finder and Show/Hide invisible files, with not more than two mouse clicks. [alert admin]

Transmission 1.05 (Mac OS X)
After all my previous upgrades from .82 to .96 to the 1.xx versions it always messed up my share ratio. Not this one! 1.04 and 1.05 keeps crashing on "Quit" but seems to be stable otherwise. [alert admin]

Transmission 1.00 (Mac OS X)
Version .82 works - This One's A Disaster!
for me anyway! Froze my Powerbook so that I had to hard-reboot, which killed some files in the startup process. Blue screen of death and spinning beachball until I did a 'Clean Install' of 10.5.1. I went back to Transmission v. .82 twice so far, version .96 messed up my ratio. So why should I trust the new version if the last two caused only trouble? [alert admin]

I guess it only loads because I have PlugSuit installed. If I click this off in System Preferences it won't load.
