Remember? 4.3 (Mac OS 9)

Thank You

Thank you Dave, for still supporting OS 9. I've been using this program for years and years. This is the one to get, if you want to get all your stuff done on time. [alert admin]

Readiris Pro 9.0 R12 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

Where IS the update?

Why is this even listed? There is no way to get to the 9.0 R12 update; not from VersionTracker, or from the web site. The links just funnel you into a demo that runs on OS X (I am staying with OS 9.x, thank you very much...) [alert admin]

iota-calc 1.4 (Mac OS 9)

Great Update

I knew this was going to get even better, and v 1.4 has. I am one happy registered user. Try the debugging feature! [alert admin]

iota-calc 1.3.6 (Mac OS 9)

Good One!

This is a very nice and unique calc, and they are steadily improving it. I'm giving it a five for current usability, improvements, and a GREAT price. Get it now, before demand drives up the cost. [alert admin]

WeatherMan 1.8.8 (Mac OS 9)

To kholburn1...

Use the Product Info link to go to WeatherMan site. The .hqx version will expand; the .sit version does not. There is also an OS X version there. I have used this program for years, and it's still the best. [alert admin]

1.0.1 is better

Got an email through to author and he fixed the "NilObjectException" problem. I'm giving it a 4 for good potential and quick author response. [alert admin]

I take that back...

In the OS X version, if I type fast in the text field, I often get gibberish. It seems to leave out some letters, and then inserts them in a later word. Needs to work better to be any useful. [alert admin]

NilObject

To-Do Stickies 1.0 Classic gives the dreaded "An exception of class NilObjectException was not handled. The application must shut down." for almost every menu choice. 7300 PPC 200 MHz OS 9.2.2 To-Do Stickies 1.0 for OS X seems to work, using same system as above. email to author fails. [alert admin]

Display Blinks

Here is an email I tried to send to the company, but none of their email addresses seem to work; maybe they will read it here... I find it hard to believe that no one has told you about the incessant blinking of the HP-12C & HP-12CP display. White rectangles, of various sizes, constantly blink in the results window. I am using a 7300 PPC, 200 MHz, 1 gig RAM. OS 9.2.2 It happens with my normal Extensions, and it happens with Extensions off. It happens in every version, so far. It is VERY distracting. I sure hope this behavior isn't *normal* Any ideas for how to make it stop blinking? [alert admin]

Blame Apple...

Hi Alexander, That IS the link I finally found. It's 11 MB. I was just looking for a SMALL IP app (I already have eight lager ones). Thanks for the tip, but with my 56k modem it's not worth my time, just so I can TRY IP Monitor for Java. Did you try it? Is it any better than, say, Copy My IP 1.0, which instantly copies your IP address to clipboard, is free, and was a 7k…
