ScreenCleaner Pro 1.0 (Mac OS X)
The grime is gone! This is either the most incredible advance known to monitor science or the best spoof pulled by anyone in CyberWorld for years. Either way, I love it. :) [alert admin]

VersionTracker Pro 3.5.3 (Mac OS X)
Sorry, but an internal error has occured (1)
I, too, am plagued by this bizarre behavior. I also notice under "Current Versions" in the left hand column the message is "Not Installed." So, VT does not recognize the currently installed VT version (3.5.3), either. Does anyone have a clue as to what is happening? Quicksilver, 1 GIG RAM, System 10.3.8. [alert admin]

NotePad 2.5 (Mac OS X)
This little app is outstanding. April has kept the flavor of the old Notepad while adding some needed improvements. Great work! [alert admin]

It is a great idea, it does have annoying bugs and the asking price is way too high. Having said all that, with some debugging and a realistic fee, this app could be very handy. [alert admin]

The quantity and diversity of information gathered and displayed is phenomenal! The developer has placed at our disposal, in attractive and useful ways, a plethora of data. I especially like the constantly changing indicators displayed in the dock, which correlate to weather conditions. This one is a keeper, well worth the $35 fee which I'm going to pay now before the developer comes to his senses and raises it. [alert admin]

MacJournal 3.0b2 (Mac OS X)
All good things, as the cliche goes,
must come to an end. While I don't feel the deep bitterness expressed by some others below, I also would have gladly paid $20 or so directly to Dan. I am not so sanguine about paying Mariner because I don't feel they can "improve" it enough nor give it the great support Dan has in the past to justify $30 (and who knows, maybe more in the future, if they can get away with it.) I am also inclined to hang onto the 2.x version without guilt because it is a very solid, useful application. Good luck, Dan, and belated thanks for the long, free ride. [alert admin]

iPods are FireWire drives, too. Don't be fooled by the "third party" warning. Other than that, everything is cool. [alert admin]

and better than ever. I am beginning to appreciate it more and more. There is going to be a horse race between Mellel and Nisus Writer Express and it is shaping up to be a good one. [alert admin]

Even though I have had (knock on wood) no problems with Apple upgrades, the line about Steve's helicopter is hilarious!
