iPhoto Buddy Absolutely Positively Crucial Application 
Why Apple does not contact these folks and cut a deal to buy their app and integrate it with iPhoto mystifies me. You can slice and dice your monster iPhoto archive and back it up much better by this gem of an application. I positively recommend this as AN ESSENTIAL APP for your Mac. And damnit, donate to this guy. [alert admin]
