Leechster 0.92 (Mac OS X)

Leechster discontinued...

Leechster is incompatible with iTunes 4.5, making it pretty much useless. As such, it has been discontinued. [alert admin]

KisMAC 0.02a (Mac OS X)

The WEP cracking…

button appears when you've collected some weak-key packets. Goto the 'details' of one of the networks (by double-clicking on it), and if you have any weak-key packets for that network, the crack button appears. You'll need a lot of packets before it'll work though. [alert admin]

feenix: Huh? Did…

you post in the wrong window by accident? Its 1.9 meg and its a simple .dmg.gz file. :) corradokid: You might be better off just deleting your database file than trying to convert it. You can rebuild it quickly enough w/the master list. Database is at ~/Library/Application Support/Neo/Database.db [alert admin]

Neo 0.83 (Mac OS X)

Just a note…

to everyone who just download from VT rather than visiting the website: Neo is totally opensource now, so you can check it out at http://sf.net/projects/neoclient and if you're gutsy enough to compile the CVS version from source, you'll have a much more stable client. Expect another release this coming weekend. If you know ObjC go hack in some features you want. Also, Neo forums are back up, but not located at http://sphereal.com/neo/index.php - Mike [alert admin]

For those of…

you who don't think that Cypher is "sharp" enough or needs more abstraction, etc, let me know exactly what you mean (email: mthole@purdue.edu). Would you like options for what is displayed in the dock icon? A pull out drawer with options for the terminal commands? Send constructive feedback! [alert admin]

hmm

The author is fluent in English, so he didn't mess up and mean "lots of bugs fixed." Lots of bugs were probably introduduced while changing core components...also note that reinjection is broken in this version. This *is* 'alpha' software (although it doesnt usually act like it) and these kind of things happen in the software development cycle.

Customize it!

You can easily have iSeek add a "www." and append a ".com" as well. Adding a "www." is probably pretty pointless, since most sites work fine without doing that, so I left it out here. But here is a "Quick Open" iSeek site that will open with .com on the end. So just hit you hot-key, type in "mtv" and you'll end up at MTV.com. iseek://url/?=&name=Quick%20Open&category=General&encoding=5&scheme=http&urlSuffix=.com Enjoy, Mike Thole (iSeek Developer)
