ted 0.92 (Mac OS X)
Also for free is TVShows. Don't know for sure if it's got the same functionality as this, but it sounds like it. [alert admin]

PlunkIt! 1.0b2 (Mac OS X)
I've been using Schick for several months now, but have always kept an eye out for a more stable replacement. This one might just do it. It's easy, intuitive, non-intrusive, and unlike Schick and DropCopy, you don't have to do anything special to maintain custom icons across a send. [alert admin]

Adobe Flash Player 9.0.47.0 (Mac OS X)
I can no longer view Flash on web pages. Unbelievable. I can't do any kind of uninstall. I even grabbed an old installer from a backup and ran it, but no. No more Flash. WTF? [alert admin]

MyDog 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Don't know if it's because I upgraded the system to 10.4.10 or Safari to 3.0b recently (or neither) but it just quits when I try to execute a search. [alert admin]

Small, efficient, and with that exciting OS 9 look! :-) Cute little app does what it's supposed to. Nice job. [alert admin]

krank 0.7 (Mac OS X)
...except for the fact that I've finished all 30 levels and NOW they come out with a new version that saves settings/progress etc. in an external file. So as far as I can tell, if I want to upgrade from .6 to .7, I lose all my hard work and have to go back to square one. [alert admin]

Good news re: impossible high scores
When I saw the high score on the website, I wrote to the authors: > How do you suppose the current leader's top two scores are: > > 10111 1 hour ago > 2149 2 days ago > > No scores between those extremes? How the heck are people doing that? They responded: > There is a bug in the game that certain players are exploiting. We are > working hard to correct the problem. Once an update is made available, we > will clear all scores obtained over a certain threshold and the playfield will > be leveled for all to compete fairly. I'd ask you to be patient for this to > happen as we're not just sure how long its going to take to correct the > problem. [alert admin]

...albeit a bit expensive for a one-trick pony. Also not a big fan of the pricing plan in general. But it's fun (for now) and is really tight in terms of programming. [alert admin]

I *still* have the original for the rare times. Now I don't have to launch Classic anymore. Thanks! [alert admin]

You should keep your bad politics and bad spelling away from versiontracker. It's "yin" and "Ann" if you feel like learning something.

Thanks, yup. I figured that out too. But now it says: Error: curl: (67) Access denied: 530 ...even though I'm *positive* I have the server, user, and pw correct. I used the same settings in my FTP client and got right in.

1) Really? I didn't think it mattered if the recipient was there or not, just like when you try to put a file on their machine using the regular Network Connect... thing. It's up to the sender to say "yes, replace" or "cancel." But I don't know anything about programming, so I'll defer to your knowledge. 2) Cool, that would be great. I've also found that setting the user image size to 17 obviously makes the…

That's the only reason I'd consider upgrading (again and again...) from 2006. It's very annoying to have to spend that kind of money for one feature enhancement, especially because it's something Intuit should have done so long ago. Really burns me up.

Thanks for getting back to me. The only problem I have with the 5x5 limit is that if I have 26 images, I *have* to have a 2-page gallery. Seems to me that you should be able to have an unlimited number of rows. Perhaps columns are more constrained, I understand. I'm basing this on the Web Photo Gallery... command in Photoshop, with which you can just key in the number of rows (and columns…
