I've used this for several years and love it for its simplicity. It has great configuration options and is rock solid. [alert admin]

DockStar 2.1 (Mac OS X)
Well thought out and well implemented utility that does exactly what it claims to do (a rarity these days!) I happily handed over my ten bucks. [alert admin]

QuicKeys X 3.2 (Mac OS X)
I've used Quickeys since the very first version (when dinosaurs still roamed the earth), and would find if very difficult to give up. I count on it hundreds of times every day. And I like supporting a company that has done such good Mac products for so long. A welcome addition with version 3.2 is the support for the extra function keys on the new Apple aluminum keyboard. Very handy. [alert admin]

Apple iWork 08 (Mac OS X)
'08 is a very nice package, and I'm thrilled with Numbers. So far I find it has just the right balance of power and simplicity. I'm certainly not an advanced spreadsheet user, but all my old Excel files opened perfectly. Some very nice changes in Pages as well. I am particularly glad to have change tracking. Well worth the $79. [alert admin]

Adobe Lightroom 1.1 (Mac OS X)
I can't believe how they improved the performance over the last version. I use Lightroom on a 2 GHz Core2Duo MacBook, which is a pretty modest machine, but it handles my 35,000 images very smoothly.) And some of the new features are awesome: clarity, sync folder, improved noise reduction, match exposure and a bunch more. [alert admin]

Photo Desktop 2.0.1 (Mac OS X)
Makes it a snap to keep your favorite photos 'pinned' on your desktop. Reminds me of an old-fashioned cork board. The 'smart' sets that automatically update and the global menu for switching to different layouts are highlights. Well worth the small price. [alert admin]

There is no 2GB file size limit. I have many recordings that are over 15GB. If you have a tuner that does software encoding (like the EyeTV Hybrid) the quality will depend on the settings you use and the speed of your Mac. On slower Macs, the quality is reduced to enable the encoder to keep up.

Elgato definitely appreciates our existing customers. That's why the upgrade is 50% off the full price.

It appeared to fail the first two times I tired to add my review, but apparently it didn't. I alerted the admin so hopefully they'll remove the dupes.
