Mactracker 4.0b4 (Mac OS X)
This is one neat program that does pretty much everything you could want from it. I do have a couple of questions/ideas for the developer though: 1. Why is it brushed metal? There seems to be no real justification for the main screen of the app being brushed metal 2. Any chance of rejigging the model information window slightly? I reckon it would work bettter if you added a toolbar to the top of the window. The forward, backward and bug report buttons could all be move up there, a more logical place for them I feel. iTimer 1.0 1.0.0 (Mac OS X)
I'm sorry but this program is just horrible. First the interface, it is needlessly complex and nearly impossible to figure out. And why the brushed metal? That's certainly not in accordance with the HIG. For some reason my dock will not auto-hide properly with this program as the current app. Also, if you close the window, the app will not quit which is fair enough. But then clicking its dock icon will not bring up its window again. It will just sit there. Nice idea I guess, but the developer really needs to go and think about his interface a lot more. Try something like Pause or iSleep instead. [alert admin]

Not really a problem. If the developer releases a version that will no longer run on an earlier system, they can either: A. Put it in the release notes clearly warning the user B. Start a new appcast feed for the app that is for later versions only

Hmm, that really is very strange. However, there is absolutely no code within Pause that interacts with Firefox, so it seems to me that your problem is probably a system-related one I'm afraid. Possibly your hard disk or logic board is on the brink?

Hi, I'm the developer of this app, and I'm rather concerned about you report. I can see no reason why my app would cause you such problems since it is written entirely in Applescript and doesn't issue any "system" commands at all. Can I ask in what way it crashes for you? Does the app actually quit with the system bringing up a message informing you so, or does the application itself keep running,…

Since releasing version 1.0, Pause is now hosted on a different server, so you should no longer have any problems. Mike Abdullah (Developer)

It appears that the problem is ISP related. Some ISPs block access to atspace.com since apparently it is commonly used to send spam from. With the new release there is now an alternative download location.

From me, the developer Yes it does have the ability to create images. But you have to specify beforehand what size this image will be. Then you have to have the workflow mount the image, copy the files and close it again. This way, it can all be done transparently in the background.

From the Developer, I personally have no problem downloading it from version tracker's link. It could have been that the hosting site was down temporarily. Try it again and hopefully it should work.
