DeltaGraph 5.7 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
Just a note of caution. I had Deltagraph 5.6.1. I applied the upgrade and it broke the application. The Finder says "Not supported on this platform" (I have a G5) My suspicion is that instead of making an Universal Binary it made a Intel Only Binary by mistake. I also tried reinstalling Version 5 from scratch and doing all the upgrades with same results. Eventually I fixed it by opening the application package (with Control-clik Show Package contents.. in the Finder). Inside instaed of the usual OSX Contents folder there was another package called Content, I open that one, copied all the stuff inside in a new folder, called that Contents and then it worked. Quite a mess. Your mileage may wary [alert admin]

OSS 3D 1.5 (Mac OS X)
Hi, simply changing the resolution of the equalizer dramtically changes the sound. Is it supposed to do that? [alert admin]

Longhand 2.4 (Mac OS X)
This is a GREAT app. Some problems with approximation (e.g. power(10,log10(10000000000));999999999.9). I would love if it saved the functions you define. MIchele [alert admin]

Good, but it should NOT call home... ![]()

...without asking you. I think is a very bad practice for applications to "call home". I'm sure that this app does not do anything fishy (am I?), but why do it without notify the user? I'd give five star otherwise. Michele [alert admin]

Should programmers rate their own software

DYMO LabelWriter 6.1.1.0 (Mac OS X)
Hi, I was having tons of problems after upgrading to 10.3.3/4, Printer Setup crashes, Lablelwriter 330 Turbo not recognized etc.etc. Then I found this page : http://dymo.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/dymo.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=9 It tells you how to upgrade the firmware, mine was version 0D, the latest seems to be 0K (as in zero-K), pun intended maybe by Dymo, because after upgrading everything was really OK. The instructions do not seem to make much sense, the upgrade in the Trinity folder, etc.etc. AND you'll need a PC to do the upgrade. But now it works like a peach. Michele [alert admin]

Classic version much slower than 1.5fc28
[Developer] Possible, but on my 2x 2GHz G5 it's difficult to measure the difference ;-) to a point I can be sure of it. If you do not need the new features you might as well stick with 1.5fc28. The other advantage of 1.6 is that Glenn Anderson contributed a lot of changes in the underlying TCP code that dramatically improves stability. So you might want to sacrifice performance for stability (although that might be positively…
