Eudora Enscrypt 1.02 (Mac OS X)
Good simple idea but alpha release 
Even if it is not so strong that other methods (S/mime, PGP,...), it is a good idea and simple for a friends group and pedagogical for only 13k !
But why it is alpha :
- the script is poor in error flow
- for Eudora, the first line need "tell" to be readable in the Eudora Scripts Menu.
- The doc must indicate that the script can be added in the Eudora Scripts Folder (accessible by the Eudora Menu)...

VueScan 8.2.08 (Mac OS X)
What is good with VueScan is that all defaults are quickly corrected... Now, it is easily to OCR simple text in french without using service "convert" in MacOSX ! Congratulations again... [alert admin]

Since first release of 6 and now with 6.02: PaperCapture is unable to OCR texts with accentuated chars (i.e. french) and Adobe is unable to provide a path ! trè = très êtr = ëtre .... Hope lobbying will oblige Adobe (informed since one year) to deliver quickly the patch ! [alert admin]

I agree with you ! After searching and testing "Guide Me" button, I discover how to obtain OCR, you must check in Output tab - Text File.... You obtain a good OCR result of the scanned text BUT the accentuated char are on MacOSX as Window chars encoded. So you must you the service "Convert - Window to Mac Encoding" of the whole result text ! VueScan is the best but you must search ! and…
