Parallels Desktop 2.5 Build 3186.0 (Mac OS X)

2 out of 2 updates failed  

I am using Parallels on two MacPros. When updating the Parallels Tools, i got the blue screen of death and a corrupted Windows installation. Email suport can take up to 3 days so I have to wait and see. [alert admin]

Adobe GoLive CS2 8.0 (Mac OS X)

Co-Author is useless  

(GoLIve CS2, 8.0 on 10.4.1 - clean install) GoLive has it's share of sudden crashes and inconsistencies. This seems to be a GoLive tradition and I have learned to live with it. The co-author feature is almost unusable. The client (GoLive Co- Author) crashes frequently, cut copy paste doesn't work properly, and the preview function is completely useless (inaccurate). Opening co- author sections can take up to 15 seconds on the Mac while the program becomes unresponsive. Co-Author is a me-too feature that has not been tested at all and is cumbersome to use. I am now considering using PHP and MySQL to create dynamic pages instead. [alert admin]

SecuritySpy 1.0.3 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

Great application...  

As previously said, the developer is very responsive and open to suggestions. After doing my research on Mac and PC, I have decided to go with SecuritySpy. The software is easy to install and configure. I have been using the public beta3 which is very stable. Setup: 5 Toshiba , 1 Axis 230 PTZ, 1 Axis 221. Location: Aviation related business at an municipal airport. Purpose: Improved security and quality control. [alert admin]

XERD 1.5.2 (Mac OS X)

Crashes too much, needs more features.  

I am a registered user. (-) App crashes 3-4 times per hour on 10.3.5. That is 3-4 times too many for a commercial product. I save frequently but still get caught with my pants down - so to speak. (-) a little light on features (+) clean UI, has potential, developer is on the right track. Wish-list: 1) eliminate the crashes 2) better display of relationships. (FM 7 does a pretty good job in it's 'Relationships' view). 3) color coding tables to visualize logical table groups 4) grid and snap to grid [alert admin]
