OSS 3D 1.02 (Mac OS X)
After installing the package, I can't get this plug-in to show up in itunes. Searching my drive I found it installed in the correct places but no workey. I also ran and correcter disk permissions. Restarted machine, etc. This is stated to run with OSX and itunes, no versions given however on develpoers website. So now after really wanting to test this package out I am stuck with an application on my drive I can't delete because of root user problems and an install program without a remove option! So, developer please take note. I am running version 10.2.8 build 6R73 of OSX along with version 4.7 (41) of itunes. Please fix this and re-submit I can either remove it or get it working ! Acquisition 116.3 (Mac OS X)
Downloaded 116.4 Still Problems
After downloading 116.4 at developers site I still have the same problem. I have narrowed it down a bit more. Once I select a file and start downloading it, all of the files listed from that file shown down the list simply disapear from the list and things start going bad. This happens in any of the 5 or so download searches I tried. I eventually had the search drawer vanish and the application wouldn't let me quit with the spinning beach ball of death. Had to force quit. [alert admin]

Acquisition 116.3 (Mac OS X)
Downloaded the new version a few minutes ago and tried again. Seems to be better but still has problems clicking on file names in the window. If a file is started for a download it doesn't show up in the download window. It shows that something is downloading, IE: both download and icon in the dock shows transfer rate. If I click on an empty spot in the download window file shows up but if hard to cancel or pause. The new version seems better but still displaying of the files is not right. Also everything goes astray right after a download is started. File names seem to sort OK untill the first download is started. Hope this helps spot the problem. [alert admin]

DEVELOPER PLEASE TAKE NOTE: I have made a short test of this new version for 5 minutes and there is some type of nasty bug. I am using 10.2.8 and have tested previous 2-3 versions without any problems. Something's really astray now. When clicking, sorting by field on any selection this version does not seem to redraw the screen window properly and eventually locks up with the spinning beachball. I'm sure it's just one of those simple (undocumented Features, smile) things that got overlooked. I'm sure a fix is probably in the works. [alert admin]

I have to update my review. I had another problem that was causing my Powermate to respond when it shouldn't. I was using an external USB port extender, it was bad. Now the Powermate, plugged into my keboard USB connector works the way it should. The reason the computer was asking for shutdown was because for some reason the default setting after loading up the new software was set to shutdown on long click, easy fix. The only thing that don't work is the eject function. Would have given 5 stars if that was functional. [alert admin]

releases another piece of software without documentation. So just what can users expect Long Click, and Global Only actually do ? How does the functionality work? One thing for sure, eject CD still doesn't work on my 9.2 machine. Why if I hold the push button done for a long period and then release it does my machine ask me if I want to shut down? These answers and more will be posted on Mac Fixit once I get all my items in order. I have owned my Powermate for almost 6 months now and have had nothing but problems with it. I wrote Griffin technical support but never heard back from them although they added my suggestion to visually show the volume control. A complete review to follow if I ever get this thing to function at least somewhat reliably. [alert admin]
