GRASS GIS 6.2.0 (Mac OS X)
I would suggest GIS user to tryout Quantum GIS (QGIS). The interface is nicer than GRASS, it does connect to GRASS. I don't know why it's not listed on VT. here's a link to the Develope Team page: http://qgis.org [alert admin]
