PCGen 5.7.7 (Mac OS X)
Does This Program Support Revised 3e?
From what I can tell this program only supports 3e. It only lists the 3.0 SRD. Am I missing something, or is 3.5e support missing? [alert admin]

Camino 0.8.1 (Mac OS X)
It's Too Bad About the Bookmarks
I really don't understand why the Camino team decided to completely scrap the standard method of viewing bookmarks in a sidebar. I don't find the Safari method they have moved to all that useful or functional for browsing. Useful for organizing, perhaps, but having my bookmarks on a seperate screen that I have to summon up is a pain. Of course everyone is different, so why not have a preference to allow a choice of methods? [alert admin]

Adium X 0.62 (Mac OS X)
This client seems to offer a lot of positives over Proteus, including the fact that it is free, where Proteus charges. But, it seems like ICQ functionality is more of an afterthought. I have never used AIM, but it is missing things such as invisibility; it seems to offer fewer modes overall. Plus, setting modes is more difficult. I liked the menubar of Proteus, plus the keyboard shortcuts. I may just have to shell out the dough for Proteus, which will be unfortunate, since Adium gives unmatched control over the apperance of the contact list and message window. [alert admin]

I switched to Proteus from Fire and have been quite happy with it. It seems much more reliable in maintaining a connection. My one complaint is that you can't seem to shut off the space-wasting "title bars" for each person in the chat window. I am getting used to them, but it would still be nice to be able to shut them off. Otherwise a great product. [alert admin]
