Audio A.D.D. 1.1 (Mac OS X)
It would be a lot more interesting to me personally if the slice duration could be a LOT smaller. It'd be cool to randomly chop stuff from several milliseconds up to a few seconds. And to be able to select zero fade time up to several seconds, too. [alert admin]

Max 0.7.1 (Mac OS X)
i love this app, and am amazed that it's free. i've used it mainly to convert FLAC to MP3, and to find and add artwork to the metadata. it generally works very well. i've had a few occasional crashes when i threw files at it that it doesn't handle, but overall it works very well and is quite speedy on a Mac Pro 2.66. kudos and huge thanks to the developer! Transmission 0.6.1 (Mac OS X)
Excellent speed, unstable, occasionally corrupts torrents
this is THE fastest bit torrent client i have used, by far. sadly, it has become somewhat unstable over time. my main issues with it are: 1) if i run out of disk space, transmission will eventually crash. if i clear disk space and re-launch it, many torrents seem to have "forgotten" how much was already downloaded, wasting a lot of time. to make matters worse, i downloaded at least one torrent which ended up being completely corrupt. it was mp3 files, and i ended up with bits of various files scrambled up. this was after several crashes of transmission, at least one being from running out of disk space. 2) if transmission crashes, it often "forgets" what torrents it was downloading and/or seeding, and comes back with a very partial list. last night i lost power twice, and now my torrent list is partial and i am faced with lots of work to try to rebuild it. 3) if transmission crashes and "forgets" some torrents, and i have selected "copy torrents to the support folder," there is no way to go to that folder and re-load the torrents, since transmission copies them into its own proprietary format, which even transmission can't read if it has "forgotten" the torrent!!! and of course i only discovered this after choosing "trash original torrent files" in the preferences, which meant trying to track down a ton of torrents from different sites. this is not meant as a negative review, especially since some of this (lack of disk space issue) is at least partially operator error. however, it would be great to see transmission handle crashes more gracefully. it's still my favorite client by far, due to its speed and simple, uncluttered interface. i am writing this simply in the hopes that these issues will be recognized and addressed. GrabCam 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)
this is a really, really cool thing to play with. the effects are really well done. i only wish there were more of them, and that i could capture the results in a variety of formats, including DV (which may be coming, it looks like!) [alert admin]

RADMovieTimes 1.5 (Mac OS X)
doesn't remember "show movies in popup" setting
doesn't remember "show movies in popup" setting. i have to hit the "i" button to flip it for the settings, then go back to the front. that's all i have to do, and then the movies show in the popup. very annoying. but otherwise, i love this widget! [alert admin]

Nice... but for that price I get the ENTIRE iLife package!
i'd consider paying $80 for this if i did any serious podcasting and wanted it as my main tool. somehow i kind of doubt the developers have the kind of resources that Apple has. comparing the price to iLife is not very fair, imo. most-likely, anyone who can afford to do podcasting can come up with $80 if they love the app.

if it's a separate product it would be much less confusing to have a separate package for it, not to mention less wasted bandwidth for those of us not interested in sndsampler. still, i'll check it out!

It is *not updating the System Prefs, so I guess something is wrong with how I did it. I'll look forward to the version for Terminal dummies like me ;) I can't wait to have this working-- it's so annoying having to open the System Prefs to do it! I appreciate your work, and thanks for your responses :)

have you actually done this successfully with httpmail? on my machine it has no affect at all. re-applying the terminal commands then results in a message saying that bundles have been disabled, next time i launch mail. imac g5 1.8, 1.25gb, 10.4.1
