Intego NetBarrier X5 10.5.4 (Mac OS X)
a lot of negative feedback here...(",)... i also got NetBarrier & VirusBarrier in bundle with other software... and after using VB for a few months i uninstalled it... never installed NB until i got Snow Leopard. but now i'm using both! under Snow it's all going smooth with no noticable loss in speed (i have Real-Time Scanner in VB disabled) now i've been on a Mac since i retired my Atari in '96 and i've never thought i could get viruses on them... got the 666 virus on OS8 but that was easy and harmless. but i have a Windows XP partition on my Mac so i thought that this would be the right thing to do... get som protection... and VB says it'll detect Windows Viruses and i believe them. so to wrap this rant up... i have no problem running these apps. they run & update smoothly. the only reason i gave this review is that there are a lot of negative ones and this isn't that bad...(",)... hi! i can't open password protected files either with this program... it used to on 10.4 but the latest version just can't. but any file that doesn't require pw goes straight into The Unarchiver here great app for simple tasks
