FTP Uploader Creator 5.0.4 (Windows NT, Windows XP, Windows 2000)
This little gem totally solved a problem I had with lay people uploading files to a website. I didn't want them to see any of the settings or have to put in a password. Just drop the file on a desktop icon and it's uploaded. Sure the software is spendy, $95 for the ability to make droplets targeting only one ftp address but in a situation like mine worth every penny. I had a problem with the registration process and Sergey in tech was very responsive and helpful. I'm sure I will use this many times in the future. [alert admin]

Yummy FTP 1.7 (Mac OS X)
It's not that I don't like most of the other FTP clients out there, I do, it's just that since I've found Yummy FTP it's the only one I use. Really fast. Great interface. Stable. [alert admin]

CardRaider 1.2.3 (Mac OS X)
In a design meeting I said, "I have the perfect photo. I took it two weeks ago." I get back to the shop and realize that in one of my (counterproductive) cleaning jags I have deleted the photo from my computer and reformatted the CF card. Ugghh. I looked at all the shareware recovery products and saw that CardRaider was the ticket. Half the price of most of it's competition and I like the user interface better. I recovered all the photos from the CF card, wiped the cold sweat from my brow, and poured myself a beer. Great product. Thanks. [alert admin]

Apple iTunes 7.0.2 (Mac OS X)
Works fine, takes forever to start if you have a large music library (compared to iTunes 6), looks awful. Seriously, every time I look at the interface I feel bad about Cupertino. We'll see. Hopefully Windoze and Mac aren't morphing into one big grey, uninspired mass. [alert admin]

G-Force 3.5.2 (Mac OS X)
Pretty much unusable since 3.5 due to the constant whoring-after-money on-screen nagging. I've been a real fan of Andy's work for many years and have written rave reviews of his software on this site in the past. I sure wish he would come up with a reasonable pricing plan for his products because between the bizarre fee structure for G-Force and the free version now being unusable I find that I never use this excellent software any more. Too bad. [alert admin]

Emailchemy 1.7 (Mac OS X)
Some of the best money I've ever spent. Apple's mail hosed my inbox upon updating to Tiger. Just the inbox (with thousands of emails), none of the other mailboxes. Tried many solutions with no success. Emailchemy brought all my messages back and saved the day. Yay, Wierd Kid. [alert admin]

I've tried all the timers out there and sure they work but the interfaces are always clunky and inelegant. Minuteur is just right. Simple, intuitive, cool looking. [alert admin]

Apple iTunes 5.0 (Mac OS X)
Like the new user interface, crisp and clean with more of a component look. Streaming audio with no drop-outs, nice. Update went seamlessly and all playlists are intact. It may be just me but it sounds more spatial like with analog audio. Sounds great. Nice job, Apple. [alert admin]

G-Force 2.7.3 (Mac OS X)
Comparing Apple's visualizer to G-Force is like comparing raw eggs, sugar and butter to delicious hot cookies straight out of the over. I believe that Andy wrote Apple's visualizer in the first place (let's call it v.1) but has continued to refine it to it's current excellent state as G-Force. It just keeps getting better and better. Andy, I know we are getting your best. Thank you so much. Happy New Year. I look forward to seeing what you come up with this year. All the best. [alert admin]

XServe RAID supports RAID 5, but not 6, and has sufficient power to do all the parity calculations on board.

It's a bit of a work around but you can use iChat with MSN people by using the Jabber connectivity.

Dude, that was totally rude of you to give this great product a one star rating just because you couldn't figure it out. If it's possible you should see if you can retract, or change, your review.

It was a legal thing, someone else already had Alladyn and so they sued Alladyn so that Alladyn had to change their name so that rather than Alladyn they are now Allume. OK? (Blame the lawyers.)

yep, works fine with Panther. I've been using MacJanitor for quite some time and it has worked great on every release of MacOS X.
