Alarm Clock Pro 9.2 (Mac OS X)
After I upgraded to 10.6 and iTunesSleep stopped working, I needed to find a new alarm clock. I tried just about every one out there, none of which worked the way I wanted, until I found Alarm Clock Pro. Even it had a couple of glitches, but after a couple of e-mails to the support team, both of my issues were fixed (within the week). Alarm Clock pro now works exactly the way I want my alarm clock to work, making it the only choice for me, and a very good, if paid, option. [alert admin]

TimeClock 0.1.1 (Mac OS X)
The crashing bug should now be fixed. My apologies to anyone who downloaded the initial release and were unable to get it to run. Please give it another shot. [alert admin]

TimeClock 0.1 (Mac OS X)
Note from publisher: Immediately after initial release, it was discovered that a missing library causes the program to crash on most computers immediately after launch. I will be fixing this shortly. [alert admin]

Parallels Desktop 3.0 Build 5608.0 (Mac OS X)
I use parallels at work and VMWare Fusion at home (due to a special discount pricing), and between the two, I definitely prefer Parallels. For one thing, I find the interface much cleaner and easier to use than VMware (although VM Ware did improve this quite a bit with their 2.0 release). For another, I have found Parallels integrates with my computer and other hardware much easier and more cleanly than VMWare does. For example, I tried hooking up a GPS unit to a VMWare fusion virtual machine, and had a terrible time trying to get it to even recognize that a device was connected. On the flip side, I have hooked numerous USB devices in through Parallels, including that GPS, and have had no issues whatsoever- I simply plug the device in, select it from the USB menu in parallels, and it is connected to my virtual machine. I have never experienced stability problems with either product, aside from the inherent issues with windows, and I honestly don't know what people are complaining about here, or why they are giving it one-star reviews. From what I have seen using both major products simultaneously, parallels is definitely the better product, although VMWare is (now) decent as well. [alert admin]

Help, please: 3.0b1 installer hangs at "destination select"
If you are running 10.5 still, stick with the old version. 3.0b1 is a very early beta, really intended just to get something working on 64 bit safari in 10.6. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if it could only install on a 10.6 volume, and that's your whole problem. I'm not saying this is the case- I really don't know- it just wouldn't surprise me. At any rate, being that 3.0b1 is no where…

Yep, it's working great for me - not perfectly (some of the Hulu ads are still getting through, before it blocked them seamlessly), but most of the major ads are being blocked. You did update SIMBL first, right?

Does PH Work With Snow Leopard?
Actually, I don't get any kind of error, and it works perfectly for me. I'm perfectly happy running in 32 bit mode, until such a time as the plugin is updated-I mean, it's been good enough for the last few years :-). The good news about this is that it looks like SIMBL might just need a 64 bit recompile to work properly. Of course, that may be more difficult than it sounds, depending on…

...it's what I wanted, but it doesn't count?
Have you run it more than once (separated by at least 15 minutes), or let it run for more than 15 minutes at one time? As I stated in the description, it has the option to round to the nearest 15 minutes. This option is enabled by default. You can turn this off if you want, but otherwise it will show 18:15 from 6:08:00pm to 6:22:59pm. At no point in the program did I define…

What OS are you on? PPC or Intel? If you open the console app in utilities, what does it say? Unfortunately, I don't have a wide variety of machines to test on, so it's entirely possible I missed something. My apologies. If you want to contact me at ibrewster@alaska.net, I'll try to get it fixed. Thanks.

I can set the size of the cache I want in Safari. I just go to the Security tab and set it to whatever I want :)
