DEVONthink Pro Office 1.5 (Mac OS X)
I cannot confirm the comments mad before because it's search is powerful, and now with Spotlight support it's even better. Take a look at the tutorial video's on their site and you will learn a lot you didn't know before. I tried many others but Devonthink Pro Office can even find word that are misspelled, in fact I m always able to find back wath I m looking for, and now from the Spotlight bar. Also when there is a bug and I report it, they mostly fix it within a week. [alert admin]

VPN Tracker 4.9.3 (Mac OS X)
I use the Professional version multiple times a day for multiple connections together and it works great. It connects without hassle and makes me able to remotely manage multiple servers with ARD. Only one thing is annoying me : it breaks the connection if your laptop fells asleep which happens very fast if you work on battery. But it is no critic, it seems logical to me. Maybe in a future version VPN Tracker can force the computer to stay awake ? [alert admin]

NetMap 1.2 (Mac OS X)
I looked through many software on WIn and Mac platform even Visio, but this is what comes the closest to my wishes. I hope the developer will further work on it and implements the feature requests made by the users. [alert admin]

Synk Backup 6.1.1 (Mac OS X)
If I use the correct SMB login credentials, the volume doesn't mount. That makes Synk useless for me. What's wrong with the app's SMB mounting ? [alert admin]

It doesn't work for me, and I have the right firmware and everything. Where do this gets a 4 star rating from, it seems that it doesn't work for anyone ! Now I can see my phone in iSync but it doesn't want to connect. They better called it p990i iSync Icon Dsiplay, because that's the only thing it does ... [alert admin]

Parallels Desktop 3.0 Build 4124.0 (Mac OS X)
Serial number policy totally wrong !
I've bought the packaged product and I was never able to use the included printed serial number. Cust supp said it has something to do with the localized version "so you better use a trial number" they said to me !? Now with version 3 I can nowhere find an upgrade on their site. I will have to ask for a trial number again ??????? [alert admin]

A few days ago I installed a Win client and tried to control a Mac with a Skype tunnel. This of course worked. But it is so slow. Why ? You cannot control the color and background information it sends from mac to win or from win to mac. In fact it sends all the time the whole image over the internet on every move you make on the remote screen, in full color and in full resolution ?! So it is completely not usable in a remote session over the internet from mac to pc or vice versa. But it does its job well between two Mac connections with Skype over the internet. Cross-platform ? Don't think so. Of course in a local LAN it works good because its a faster connection. [alert admin]
