iWebFlinger 1.2 (Mac OS X)

1.2 no better :(

Still hangs and now this error "Keychain Scripting got an error: The specified item already exists in the keychain. (-25299)" shows up. I assume that I'll have to remove all traces of this, then give it another start from scratch, but it is easier to just add the code by hand at this point. I really want to see this work. Please do not give up on it. I think it can be great with some debugging, a few more features (I would LOVE to see an option to make off-site links open in a new window!!!) and a toolbar. For now, it isn't happening, but there is potential here. I just hope it comes together before the next version of iWeb. ;) [alert admin]

iWebFlinger 1.2 (Mac OS X)

hangs, fails, script errors

Great idea, but it just doesn't work. Continues to show "item 2 of ("ftp...) into type Unicode text. (-1700)" as error. Had to manually remove from startup items as well. Will NOT QUITE or force quite. Let us know when this is debugged - it is a really good idea and something that I believe people might find value in. For the moment, it is not ready for prime time. VersionTracker Pro 4.2.2 (Mac OS X)

Needs progress bar

It would be helpful to have a progress bar for period when scanning the drives and to know which drives it is scanning and the scan mode (all software, etc.). [alert admin]

Adobe Version Cue Workspace update (Mac OS X)

CS1 only or CS2

It is not indicated whether this update is req. for CS2 use. Adobe's site shows CS2 system requirements for this update, but it isn't clear anywhere if this is something v2 users need. Spotlight search for "version cue" only shows uninstaller. Any suggestions? [alert admin]

ShowMacster 1.3 (Mac OS X)

just doesn't work

Using a Powerbook 1.5 w/ 1.5g RAM and 128VRAM. Launches in iChat under Tiger, but won't work. Tried reinstalling, trashing prefs, changing prefs and nothing works. Looks like it should but, thus far, it doesn't. [alert admin]

BootCD 0.6.2 (Mac OS X)

images won't boot

Have used BootCD for some time and with several versions. This new version (0.6.2) won't produce a disk that will boot. I have trashed prefs, trashed the app, repaired permissions prior, cleared system caches and several other things. I have gone back to the prev version which works just fine for me. Any ideas appreciated. [alert admin]

still won't work with Logitech 3000

Suffering with a family member who is stuck with an old Log3k under Panther for iChat. No dice. Might just be time for the iSight. <sigh> [alert admin]

PostCard 20031104 (Mac OS X)

This is just fun -- easy and fun!

If you really want to do something more involved, use an Adobe app and go nuts. For a quick little drag and drop app, this thing is really great! My kids love sending fun emails to the family (I seldom did any such thing as a kid) with their creations. Great to lighten the moment -- esp. if you don't have a .Mac account. I'd like to see some aspect ratio options, but this is fun and worth the few bucks to support the smiles. [alert admin]

Burning Monkey Solitaire 3.0.1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

A primate wonderland of silliness and fun!

Great for those are just getting into games and don't have force-feedback, joysticks, gamespads, etc.. Silly and fun and well designed. The download was the bait, the CD just rocks! I don't know Solitaire and this game helped me learn. I bought this for my daughter and she is yelling at me to let her log into her account for a while. Love it. [alert admin]
