FoxTrot Personal Search 2.0.2 (Mac OS X)
Finally a local search tool that can wade through thousands of documents and provide accurate results with live previews. Even hyperlinks are maintained in HTML docs. Amazingly fast indexing and tons of search features. A little pricey but it is one-of-a-kind. [alert admin]

Xyle scope 1.2.2 (Mac OS X)
This is a tremendous resource for CSS web development. Amazing insight into the code and the CSS reference and feedback is best of breed! [alert admin]

Live3DPoker 1.17.1 (Mac OS X)
This new version is much improved (at least on my G5x2). Screen flashing is gone and animation and play is smooth. I think the jury is still out over whether this is actually a better interface than traditional online poker sites. It is pretty cool at first but may get old during long real money games. We'll have to wait and see. [alert admin]

Live3DPoker 1.16 (Mac OS X)
I can't believe the 4 and 5 star ratings for this app. You guys must be very hard up for free games. The constant screen flashes (G5, 10.4.2) drives me crazy. Needs lots of work! [alert admin]

Space Guards 1.1 (Mac OS X)
This needs lots of work, mostly on interface and graphics. On a large monitor, this game is just one level above unplayable. [alert admin]

GoodPage 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Based on the fast response of the developer to offer an early-adopter price, and having used the app for a day now, I feel compelled to upgrade my rating and purchase this product. It is an excellent HTML editor with all the bells and whistles! [alert admin]

GoodPage 1.0 (Mac OS X)
This app has lots of nice features but I won't buy at this price. Also, the program froze many times trying to create a browser preview of a simple page. Also I feel the "no documentation" approach of the developers is a little presumptuous for an app of this complexity. Cut the price in half and will definitely give it another try. [alert admin]

SiteGrinder 1.0.4 (Mac OS X)
I wonder what the Adobe lawyers will do when they find out these guys are essentially harvesting Photoshop serial numbers! I very much like the looks of this product and would buy it, but not if I have to give them my product serial number. It makes no sense and may be illegal. Another problem with this registration system is; what happens when a future PS upgrade uses a new serial number and these guys are out of business? Common guys, it is time to think about the customer instead of using Adobe's registration to protect your own piracy concerns. [alert admin]

Apple Pages 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)
With text editors and word processors, there is no one-size-fits-all, but after using most of the products on the market, I find Pages to be a breath of fresh air for both functionality and ease-of-use. I have written a couple of long documents (100+ pages) using pages and it is fast and efficient. And unlike some of the high-end products, it does what it is supposed to do without a lot of interface clutter. Highly recommended! [alert admin]

Are you serious? Have you actually tried NoteTaker? It's a toy! It's one of the most un-Mac-like products on the market and almost single-handldly define un-intuitive. Who would want to clone that?! Certainly not anyone who actually knows how Mac software is supposed to behave--can you say OmniGroup?
