NetNewsWire 3.0 (Mac OS X)
I tested the demo, and on Activity monitor i noticed that when nnw 3.0 is running, mds process skyrockets to 97% cpu usage! I'm on a iMac CDD. maybe some spotlight related issue? [alert admin]

Twitterrific 2.0 (Mac OS X)
I don't know if I'll be using Twitter at all... but if I will, sure one of the main reasons will be this beautiful app. Windows users: IN YOUR FACE! :) [alert admin]

PicturePopPro2CM 2.0p2 (Mac OS X)
looks promising, but: I just installed this. everytime i ctrl-click or right-click (in any app) finder crashes or apps freeze (even the whole system! first time it happens to me). Too bad... dont know why (os x 10.4.7 PPC, wacom tablet, PowerMac 450Mhz 1Gb RAM) if you happen to experience this problem, just remove PicturePopPro2CM.plugin from
~/library/contextual menu items(or
/library/contextual menu itemsif you installed it systemwide. [alert admin]

Quicksilver 1.0b49 (Mac OS X)
this thing is getting better and better. I wonder when will Apple steal the whole concept :) I cannot use a Mac if Quicksilver isn't installed: a launcher, a powerful utility, a catalog, etc... u can use it as u prefer. Documentation on the website is lacking, but there are good tutorials linked from the wiki. it could be frustrating at first (like "What do I use this thing for?!?!"), but once mastered you can't live without. and watch the price, too... Transmission 0.6 (Mac OS X)
Best torrent app for mac. Period.
I used to use Azureus: more features, but my Mac ended up being a AzureusMachine (too much processor and ram usage...) Then I tried Transmission (at the time version 0.4): now everyday I download the latest nightly, and I'm torrent-happy as I could be. The only regret that I have is cosmetic: I dont like Transmission icons, but hey that's just me. [alert admin]

V-amplio Pro 1.1 (Mac OS X)
the interface is totally un-Mac-like... wish it was more like VampEdit, the project is dead but u can find the program here Mac OSX MIDI Applications [Software]. Plus I wish I could import dloaded presets to my V-Amp... keep it goin'! [alert admin]

Best of both worlds?!? I don't see any best in using Winsucks, anyway. I'll still be drinking a beer, just watching your mac's ram pageouts go nuts. And who cares of Access, btw...
