KeyViewer 1.4 (Mac OS X)
I'd love this as a Dashboard widget. Can it be done? [alert admin]

XviD_Codec 0.4.1 (Mac OS X)
Why should I install this codec on top of (or instead of?) these other codecs I already installed? It seems that most if not all AVIs that I have come across will play properly. Will this fill in any gaps left by the others, or is this to be used instead of one of them? [alert admin]

Taco HTML Edit 1.7.0 (Mac OS X)
I LOVE THIS APP! The new features are heartily welcome. Batch find is now usable (mostly, see below). Action menu in project directory is awesome. PHP Coloring is better than ever! I would be satisfied if this app stayed how it was, but... here are more requests: Batch Find: Block .HQX and similar files. Search in only front Project Directory. Quick Insert: Have a symbol or code which can be included so that these can be inserted around selected text. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! [alert admin]

Virtue 0.5r2 (Mac OS X)
It took a little time to get the hang of it (since the Help is pretty light), but once I did, I love it so much that I have reprogrammed my extra mouse buttons to use the pager and 'assign windows to desktops' (the benefit of having a 6 button mouse). I like this better than YouControl, and didn't try CodeTek, which this is definitely cheaper than. A few suggestions: 1) Change the app/window assignment sheet (OPT-CMD-O) to a floater that appears under the mouse, like the pager can. 2) Block key commands from going to other windows (Safari goes nuts when I press and hold OPT-tab) 3) Add menu item to assign current app/window to other desktop. All in all, this app rocks! [alert admin]

Pastor 1.6 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
Free is a very good price. I would like to use Pastor, but the lack of password obsuring (which I guess others have complained against) makes me wary. If I have the app open and someone walks up behind me, they could see all the information in that entry. You could use an "unbullet" command and timer, where the command would unbullet the password, then it would re-bullet the password after a set amount of time, say 15 seconds. Alternatively, I'd like to see the Entry tab content in a drawer, thus obscuring all the information until I want to see it. Just a few thoughts. [alert admin]

Strikesoft Desksaver 2.0 (Mac OS X)
And I don't know what else. I had to put the computer to sleep and wake it before Expose started working again. I personally like to use a low consumption screen saver as my background, via BackLight, and then have a variety of screen savers when not using the mac, via RandomExtra. Thus only using the system preferences is not satisfactory to me [alert admin]

ClamXav 0.8.7b (Mac OS X)
Does not check for MP3 trojans.
I downloaded the example trojan/MP3 from MacFixIt, and tested it, it said it's OK. Otherwise seems good (AND FREE!) [alert admin]

IP Scanner 1.1.1 (Mac OS X)
This is the first software that let's me see who is connected to my shared internet (software base station). I didn't need to install any software on the other computer, but the explanation makes it sound that way. Good job! [alert admin]

Neverball 1.3.6 (Mac OS X)
I actually prefer Neverputt to Neverball. There is a fix for the Level 16 prob for the Windows & Linux versions, but not Mac version yet. [alert admin]
