Dasher 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)

Doesn't work for me.  

No idea why not. Pref pane is installed and turned on, login item is active, and I run "top" and can see the process running, but the dashboard never kicks in. Two monitors a problem? The fact that I'm running the Apache server? [alert admin]

Update: I just needed to move the app into the root of the /Applications folder. I really hate having to do that, but so it goes.

Workaround for QuickTime MPEG4 bug  

The problem is caused by /Library/QuickTime/EyeTV MPEG Support.component. This package is created by the EyeTV app and will be recreated if you delete it and run EyeTV again. What I did is replace it with a locked dummy 0-byte file. The lock will cause EyeTV to ask you for an admin password upon launch, but you can just cancel out. EyeTV seems to run and save files fine with way, and QuickTime can once again…

Bub in 1.7.1  

I've seen it as well. QuickTime play of MPEG4 video starts out with an all-green screen followed by a lot of garbage. I'm using VLC until a new version of EyeTV corrects this.
