Apple iWork 08 (Mac OS X)

Very good but still lacking support of RTL languages

It is an excellent little cheap office suite. Offers a quite good compatibility with MS Office and remains powerful enough for a lot of jobs, with an interface really more intuitive, simple and easy-to-use than OpenOffice. But this 3rd version is still lacking of good support with RTL languages wich is a pitty since TextEdit and almost all Cocoa softwares support them quite well. Also it is a pity because it as better support of MS Word and better desktop publishing functions than Mellel. [alert admin]

WinTel 2.0.0 (Mac OS X)

Their softwares are craps

It is a crap like all their softwares, plus they make money with softwares available verywhere else for free ! WinTel is available for FREE, its real name is Bosch an OpenSource software ... But you can use Qemu that is better. They sell a Gimp + Blender + ImageMagick 30 bucks all available for free and with a Gimp less good than the Gimp.app Tjey sell a Grass GIS + Map Server for 40 $ less good than the ones provided for free at forgrass ... They sell you Abiword 2.2 under X11 when you can download for free the 2.4 as a native Mac OS application ... If you want to get money easily, do like them, take an opensource software available everywhere and sell it a good price to uninformed people ... [alert admin]

Shiira 1.2 (Mac OS X)

Worst than the nightly builds

Still impossible to connect my Yahoo mail. Still serious problem to display poages with the right encodings. Shiira simply isn't able to select the right one automatically. Especially with ISO Latin 1. Still impossible to write a new message or navigate through the account in Gmail ... Still can't connect my modem to set it up. [alert admin]

VLC media player 0.8.4 (Mac OS X)

Bugs from the beta hasn't been corrected !

Still no support of the Firewire devices unlike the PC version. And there is a bug to display subtitles uncorrected since it has been reported several times under the beta versions ! And some subtitles are not synchronized with the video while they work perfectly under MPlayer. Still a crappy support of MKV videos. Like every time we will have to wait for month until this is fixed. I keep the 0.8.2 version with MPlayer not far. [alert admin]

Camino 1.0b1 (Mac OS X)

Still missing major features

Still no RSS : the only browser for Mac without RSS support Still no tabs moving Still no RichText copy from Camino to another Cocoa application Still copy the path of an image instead of the picture itself when dragging from Camino to another software ... Still no real ads blocker like adblock in Firefox, some ads, especially in Flash, can considerably hang up the browser and increase a lot the use of memory ... Still no session saver to restore webpages after a crash It's pity because with these features it could be the browser. [alert admin]

Price - eek!

Cadintosh is a crap there are hundred times better softwares like HighDesign or TurboCAD. And I am agree PowerCADD is too much expensive in comparison of other sotwares now available, like TurboCAD that is only 150 $ ...

Bugs from the beta hasn't been corrected !

It is a freeware, but under windows and Linux it is a freeware too and if you try these builds you will clearly see and accept that the Mac version is missing features and not as good as the Windows and Linux builds ... Mplayer is a freeware too, but as the same features under the 3 environments.

Useless??

Find me the virus under OS X, then change the software, because Norton is a shit under Windows, so I can assume it is one under OS X too.
