Voluminous 1.0.7 (Mac OS X)
Excellent! Complete integration, very Macintosh-like interface ![]()

What an excellent software! Beyond comparison with the alternatives. As good as Stanza for iPhone, but much better than both Stanza and eReader (or anything for that matter) for desktop! Its user interface is, unlike the competitors', very Macintosh-worthy. Voluminous has an integrated literature database (no need to seek it online: just type it in Voluminous and press "enter" - it will immediately fetch the book for you). This is how I expect an eBook reader for the Mac to look and feel. The developer must consider programming for iPhone as well. My compliments! [alert admin]

Comic Life 1.4 (Mac OS X)
I went back to Comic Life upon a re-installation of Tiger - and it worked properly. There had been, most likely, a conflict with other programs installed to result in erratic enough a behaviour for my earlier comment. I am actually very satisfied with Comic Life (with a very slight reservation for its relatively strenuous use of processor resources in older computers); even under Leopard this excellent program runs very well, indeed. I like to apologise to the developers for the abrupt nature of my reference to the program. All-in-all, an excellent program, and quite singular. [alert admin]
