If Apple were to make a home brewing app, this would be it. Shopping function is great for looking up prices without having to leave the application – It has WebKit built right in, try getting that with another freeware app. And if you have Skype, you don't even have to pick up the phone to call your home brew shop. Plus it'll open and export .REC files, so you can swap files with all your homebrew buddies on PC's using ProMash. Other apps will help you organize your recipes pretty well but in addition to a well thought out approach, the design is the best I've seen for a brewing app on any platform. PC users will wish it was available to them as well. Support is also top notch. Don't be bothered that it isn't free, it is well worth it. [alert admin]

Rula 0.1 (Mac OS X)
This is without a doubt the most useful piece of freeware I have ever downloaded. I use it every single day measuring web graphics, css layout and so on. If you do web design you'll find this very useful and if you do, come back and rate it. [alert admin]

Advanced Link Manager 1.0 (Mac OS X)
It's kinda hard to rate this app since there is no competition, that I am aware of, on OS X. But it does a good job and it extremely useful information. It is a bit expensive, but a great tool. Looking forward to v.2. [alert admin]

JavE 5.0 (Mac OS X)
Nice that there is something like this available. It does what it says and does it well. The interface is a bit buggy. [alert admin]

Advanced Web Ranking 3.5 (Mac OS X)
This product works as it is claimed to, I just wish there were more choices for this type of software on OSX. I give the developers a lot of credit for at least creating this app for the Mac but it does need improving. It's functionality is fine, I don't suggest features be removed but this product does need simplified and the interface is rough. From the time I launch this application to the time I shut it down, it does what it is supposed to but I can't say it is a pleasure to use. And I do expect that for the price. Put the user first and polish this application and there will be no need for competition. [alert admin]

XCopy 1.1 (Mac OS X)
I honestly wish I could use this, I'd gladly pay for it. Unfortunately none of my directories were displayed, I got connected but that was it. Connecting to Linux (Fedora) [alert admin]

WebranX 0.2 (Mac OS X)
I like how simple this is, but the results are nowhere near where they actually are. One result should have been at #104 on Yahoo and I am in the 200's and the listing is nowhere to be found. Don't be afraid to charge for this, if money is motivation to improve on this I'd pay for it. BTW I am running this app on Panther (10.3.7) [alert admin]

Macromedia Contribute 2.0.2054 (Mac OS X)
I don't know why certain things have to be so hard to figure out. Adding a user, in the tutorials there is an add user button in the administer panel. Could not find one on my copy of Contribute. There are juts so many things that I could not understand why the solution had to be so unintuitive. The ability to allow users to make text bold or italic was not available even though I clearly had premissions set up that way. Then I had to pull straws until repeating regions from Dreamweaver would work, even if intermittently. Yeah it is buggy but even some of the logic behind the entire concept needs gone over and executed better. Still if you have Dreamweaver and need clients to edit content it is better than building a web based PHP HTML editor. So I may recommend Contribute only because the concept is good. [alert admin]
