iPartition 1.5.6 (Mac OS X)

Worked Perfectly...

I installed and used iPartition to redistribute space on my B&W G3 350Mhz (now 800Mhz) PowerMac. I too had an issue of a lack of space on my boot partition. After downloading the software and retrieving the SW license key, I ran the Coriolis CDMaker SW (included with iPartition) to create the boot CD (you can't repartition a volume that is on the boot disk even if the boot is on a different partition. I booted with the CD, redistributed my partitions to the desired sizes (took about 15-20 minutes with safe mode enabled), ran iDefrag Lite (included with iPartition) and rebooted my computer with the resized boot partition. PERFECT! results. Well worth the $45.00. [alert admin]

Ejector 0.8.1 (Mac OS X)

Ejector Freezes G4 15-in PB

My PB is configured with the 1.67Ghz processor / 1.5GB of 533Mhz RAM. Ejector causes intermittent freezes. Took me months to deduce ejector as the root problem, but I've now confirmed it. Usually results in a freeze or system panic when running. Now having stated that, I use it without issue on my two desktop computers, G4 and G3 B&W. [alert admin]

Snard 2.5 (Mac OS X)

Version 2.5 Grays System Prefs Menu

I've been using SNARD for over a year now and typically had good results. The most recent version (2.5) grays out the prefs when I turn on the show System Prefs option, i.e. the pref panes are not selectable. Has anyone else had this problem? As soon as I select "Configure" and then close the SNARD configuration window, normal functionality returns. [alert admin]

NetSpeedometer 1.0 (Mac OS X)

What? Why? Does what? Freeware...

This software is worthless and doesn't even deserve to be called FREEWARE. It should be PAYWARE, i.e. we should be paid for the time it took to download, launch and delete. [alert admin]

Adobe MUST Equal "No Support" (UPDATE)

Okay - did it ALL and voila! It works! Vive l'Adobe...NOT! Still far too much guess work to get this one unpacked, unwrapped, unwound, etc. BUT...if you follow the steps I took, the product works as advertised - no thanks to Adobe. [alert admin]

Adobe MUST Equal "No Support"

This was like an egg hunt. Seek, seek and seek some more and you may (not likely) find the "hidden' treats. The much needed (required) Adobe conduit is buried in the Desktop Application Package. Yep Cntl click to open and get those goods. After that - what? Wish I knew. This less than speedy and efficient desktop app does a file integrity check / conversion. Now let's see if it ACTUALLY installs the target PDF file. Adobe - you're slippin' [alert admin]

WeatherPop Advance 2.6.1 stopped working

Went to their website and they stated that they have been hacked. I, like you, find the application totally worthless as it now stands / operates. I left a pretty long email at the website. http://www.weatherpop.com/
