This is not version 1.0.2; it's 1.0.1 [alert admin]

Eudora 8.0.0b7 (Mac OS X)
In the original Eudora, it was possible to fully edit the contents of all mailboxes. Is this capability retained in the new version? [alert admin]

EazyDraw 2.6.0 (Mac OS X)
Does anybody have any experience using EazyDraw to open and work with Canvas files, both old Canvas 3.5 and recent Canvas X? [alert admin]

Web Snapper 2.1 (Mac OS X)
Excellent; Safari Button restored ![]()

Version 2.1 restores the Button in the Safari Window Bar that made Web Snapper's predecessor -- Red Snapper -- so easy to use. But like version 2.0, it is not restricted to Safari; if you can do without that button, it runs just as well under Firefox, or outside a browser. The new button is technically a plugin to SIMBL; it runs well under OS 10.4.11/Safari 3.0.4. I have no experience under 10.5. According to the developer, Web Snapper is still under development, and he calls V.2.1 a beta (without a "b" added to the version number). But it appears perfectly stable; I have had no problems running it. What reveals the work-in-progress nature is the absence of a Help file, and in the "Save" Preferences (which are somewhat hidden), there is an item "Margin" which apparently has not been implemented yet (fixed at 50 pixels). Neither of these are urgent. [alert admin]

CleanApp 1.5 (Mac OS X)
I installed this on a G4 running O10.4.7. A few seconds after starting the program, the screen went black, but came back on after a while. When I selected Demo, the screen went black for a longer time, came back shortly, then went black for good. I has to shut down the Mac to recover. [alert admin]

MathMagic Personal Edition 2.5 (Mac OS 9)
appears to be very closely modelled on the commercial program MathType (the equation editor in MS Word is a stripped-down version of MathType). Users of MathType (and probably also of the MS Word editor) will feel immediately at home. Some of the interface details (like menu tabs) are actually a somewhat more nicely done in MathMagic. On the other hand, some common manipulations I use daily in MT did not work, or work sufficiently differently that I was not able to figure out how to do them. For those who have spent their money already on MathType, I see no point in switching to MM, even if it is (for now) free. But others might want to give it a try. [alert admin]

I had the same problem, but was able to fix it by first running uninstall on the already installed preceding version (1.5). After that, the installer ran without a problem

I am running Safari 3.0.4 under OS 10.4.11 on an iMac G5. I had no problem installing and running SafariPlus 1.6a1. The SafariPlus Submenu is present and is fully functional, except for the GIF animation, which is grayed out.

I tried CCC3 with the specific goal of considering it as a replacement for SuperDuper, which I have been using ever since it came out. CCC3 does the job, but I find it MUCH slower than SD, typically by a factor between 2 and 3. I cannot comment on any capabilities beyond those SD also has. So I am going to stick to SD for my needs.
