WiFind 1.4.1 (Mac OS X)
I don't quite get it. The default menu already tells you if a network is locked or not. The ones with little padlocks require a password. No need for an extra plugin to get that part. As for signal strength... yes that would be useful to have in the menu but not in a new menu inside the first menu. [alert admin]

ToolPlayer 0.2 (Mac OS X)
Not only does it crash instantly on leopard but the disk image itself is not accepted by the new OS. It warns that it is not a proper disk image and may cause damage to the system. Which is probably a worst worst worst case scenario, but still a disappointing read. Hope to see this revamped soon! [alert admin]

Apple Mac OS X 10.5.1 (Mac OS X)
Search does not work properly with Leopard. For instance it cannot find any document in the Document folder by title, only by content. This is somewhat annoying as a search function is a fairly useful thing to have in an OS. [alert admin]

Un-unstuffable without Aladdin
This can not be extracted by Leopard using it's built in extraction tools. One would therefore have to get Stuffit in order to open the file, which is an unattractive option on a brand new leopard install. [alert admin]

Tofu 2.0a2 (Mac OS X)
It's great to be able to read things in collumns, but the application homepage has screenshots of pages with photos in between the text. I have never gotten Tofy to display a single graphic. Only text. Which then in most cases doesn't make the layout of a web page better, -it makes it more boring. But efficient to read, yes. Background color no longer works in this version. [alert admin]

ChkRootKit_MacOSX 0.47.5 (Mac OS X)
Will not install under OS 10.4.10. It only supports up to 10.4.9. Which is not made clear in the system requirements. [alert admin]

OS X Rootkit Hunter 0.1 (Mac OS X)
This is a free of charge, tiny download, easy to use, quickly self-working scanner. Best of all it lists all kinds of things that could have been wrong with my system and isn't, in a very soothing green color which makes me feel good although I don't actually know what any of those specific rootkits mentioned do. It's like when the doctor looks at your test result and says, in a friendly voice, that you don't have Multiple Xynoixyosis. [alert admin]

Mozilla Thunderbird 1.5.0.9 (Mac OS X)
Still a very overrated and absurdly oversized mail app. It can still not import mail or contacts from Entourage. Confusing program with popup windows that keep opening and reopening after you have closed them. Just very unpleasant to try to set up. [alert admin]

Mozilla Thunderbird 1.5.0.8 (Mac OS X)
I found this to be an oversized and overrated application. Things start to go wrong already during the initial startup when you are presented with a menu consisting of 1 - one - forever checked radiobutton which says "import nothing". In my opinion even MS Entourage is better than this. Why is it so hard to make an excellent mail application? [alert admin]

GetArtwork 1.4.1 (Mac OS X)
Found one of the 6 or 7 album covers I tried it on and that was the wrong one. For me this seems absolutely useless. [alert admin]
