Adobe Shockwave Player 11.5.2r602 (Mac OS X)
Shockwave Player versus Snow Leopard
Snow Leopard users must choose between running their Safari browsers in the (out-dated) 32-bit mode or running Safari without Shockwave. See Adobe's tech note http://go.adobe.com/kb/ts_cpsid_51273_en-us [alert admin]

Avogadro 0.9.7 (Mac OS X)
There is a problem with the sourceforge link to the download at the moment. The download link on the developer's site is working well. [alert admin]

Adobe Shockwave Player 11.5.0r600 (Mac OS X)
After installing 11.5.0r600, Shockwave had rendering problems when I display the web page at http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/ Affected browsers: Sunrise (webkit) Firefox (gecko) The first time that I displayed the page, I experienced about 15% excessive CPU usage with the Safari browser. After I quit and re-started Safari, the page behaved better. However, I did not encounter either problem using the Opera or SeaMonkey browsers. [alert admin]

Adobe Shockwave Player 11.5.0r596 (Mac OS X)
After installing 11.5.0r596, Shockwave takes up all spare CPU cycles for an indefinitely long time when I display the web page at http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/ Affected browsers: Safari and Sunrise (webkit) Firefox and SeaMonkey (gecko) However, I did not encounter this problem using the Opera browser.
