SRS iWOW Premium for iTunes 3.1 (Mac OS X)

I love iWow!

I rarely write reviews, but I do love what this iTunes add-on does for the sound of my music. And I'm an old audiophile with finicky ears. My Bose Companion II speaker system sounds flat and lifeless without iWow running. Highest praise. [alert admin]

TypeIt4Me X 3.2 (Mac OS X)

3.2.1 Already posted, fixes Prefs Panel problem

I emailed Riccardo (the developer) about the problem and within 5 minutes he responded, already having fixed TypeIt4Me X! Now that's service! I've been using TypeIt4Me since he unleashed it on the Mac community and I find it indispensable. Why continue to type your email, street address, phone number, ect. over and over, when TypeIt4Me X can do it for you with a couple of key strokes? And with this great service, I plan to use it for as long as I use a Mac.

It’s the same URL as 3.2 but trust me, you’ll be getting 3.2.1

Check Failed Password Attempts 0.1 (Mac OS X)

Work fine for me.

Interesting to see the failed attempts. 32 of them over 16 months. Used on OSX 10.3.8. [alert admin]

Apple Mac OS X 10.3.7 (Mac OS X)

10.3.7

Installed 10.3.7 tonight. Did the usual: permission repair, I did use the Combined Updater this time, zapped PRAM, permission repair. Everything seems fine. Safari and Mail might be faster, hard to say. No problems on a 1.8 (single) G5 Power Mac, 1.5 GB memory, with Boot ROM Version: 5.1.5f1. Did unplug an external Firewire drive beforehand like you're supposed to. [alert admin]

Interesting Product

CNET takes over and we start getting ebooks. I agree, this is not the place.

LIVEUPDATE DOES NOT STICK, AGAIN

Mine did the same thing with that update, I blamed it on trying to download it over a phone line modem. I saw where to remedy this situation, go to Symantec's website and download the update from there, not using Live Update. That worked for me, and after installing the download, Live Update quit trying to update the file, showing it current. http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/download/pages/US-NMC.html
