Inquisitor 2.6 (Mac OS X)
Having recently changed my default browser from Safari to Camino due to instability problems I was resigned to losing one of the best features of Safari, the Inquisitor plug-in. Today I discover that a new version is available and this one now supports Camino as well so I'm thrilled. There's nothing different between my old Safari version and v2.6 that I can discern but then the plug-in was fab to begin with and Camino support was all that I was really hoping for. One issue that I can take with Inquisitor is that there's no documentation/support as best as I can tell. The application itself is pretty self explanatory but it would be nice if there was some help available. As an installation tip, if you have already registered an earlier version then you can register this version by installing it and then selecting the Configuration cog in the top-right of the search results. Lektora 1.5 (Mac OS X)
Mac Version Supports Firefox 1.0 Only
Just as a note for this version, version 1.5 only supports Firefox 1.5 on Windows; Mac support is only for Firefox 1.0. While the previous author discovered that Lektora 1.0 crashed Firefox 1.5, this current version only caused an error message to appear for me and could at least be uninstalled fairly simply. Looks promising on Windows (I need something like this for IE6 users at work) but it's not much use for the Mac at the moment if you are using an up-to-date version of Firefox. Shame. [alert admin]

Well, this version thankfully has finally allowed me to connect to my office network and access applications stored on it (BIG Hurrah there then). The only issue that I have currently is that my office requires me to connect to a Proxy server when accessing the Internet and this doesn't seem to be working through this version of VPN Client. To be honest, I'm not sure why not since everything else seems to be as it was under Panther now... [alert admin]
