Scan Again 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Sadly not on 10.5 nor 10.2.8 using Canon scanner with inbuilt obsolescense
Great to see software like this for those of us who have been stranded by the marketing policies of companies such as Canon who provide no solutions for clients who have not been willing to buy a new scanner each couple of years. Unfortunately this neat package "Scan Again" did not work for me using a 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with OS 10.5. Nor did it work on a 400MHz PowerPC G4 with OS 10.2.8. Maybe some day someone will do the Lazerus touch for those of us who have been deserted...;-) Kenneth Keen [alert admin]

After having to live without a real timestamp as Apple have no desire for their users to be able to accurately document exactly what was on their screens at a precisely given point, Eigenclock has solved the problem. You need to be given full thanks for the production of such a fine application which at last allows us to write the date/time in the internationally standardized form 2008 03 20 where neither Americans nor Europeans can argue that one or the other is better. The added facility of the calandar is icing on the cake and so I would give top marks for the makers. At last something which is 100% correct!!! As I have just installed it I cannot give a comment on its stability. The only change I would wish is a sronger highlighting of the present day in the calandar, making it stand out more clearly. I avoid mickymous software like the plague but this one tempted me and so I have just wasted about three hours. If ms is somewhere on the screen don't touch it was what I learnt but in spite of training I tried it, logged in, read all the paragraphs and it appeared but I couldn't log on. At least he has all MY info now and has put up some blogging rubbish instead of the service site that was there just before I loaded down. Absolute waste of time obviously and thus I warn others to stay away. If he does reply (this sparktech guy in Belgium) then I will post a note to say it was my mistake. If you are led up the same path, please do what I do and warn the rest! [alert admin]
