Safari New Tab Button 4.0 (Mac OS X)
This so-called "developer" is really trying it on... Charging money for a product which adds a feature which already exists in Safari? DON'T download this... Just right-click on the Safari toolbar, choose "Customize toolbar..." and then drag the "New Tab" item to the toolbar. The built-in function has a better icon too. Not only that, this product actually disables another useful feature - the "Add Bookmark" button. To charge for this, even $0.99 is a complete rip-off. [alert admin]

Despeller 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Not actually disabling spellchecking
So, let me get this straight... This hack doesn't actually disable the system-wide Spellchecking at all... it simply stops the visual effect of incorrect spellings from showing up?
In reality, spell checking is still as active as it was before installing, you just can't see its effects.
What benefit is there to this? If it really disabled spellchecking, then it might be useful, as you may get a slight speed increase due to the OS not doing this function, but in its current form this is purely a visual hack.

iJailBreak 0.3 (Mac OS X)
This download includes all Apple's original iPhone applications (Mail, Maps, Notes, Stocks & Weather)... Surely its illegal to distribute Apple's copyrighted software without a license? [alert admin]

Apple iMac Software Update 1.1 (Mac OS X)
For anyone wondering, this will update the ATI Graphics Card drivers, and the "GLEngine" (presumably something to do with OpenGL). To see what files it installs, run the installer and choose "Show Files" from the "File" menu before clicking the "Install" button. I don't know why its so hard for Apple to provide even a little bit of information about what they expect us to install. [alert admin]

Cursor Zoom 1.0.4 (Mac OS X)
I don't understand... The new release (v1.0.4) says it "Requires Mac OS X 10.4" But on the web-site it says "It is recommended to use the functionality provided by Apple, and not Cursor Zoom, if you run Mac OS X 10.4 or later." What's the point in creating a new version only for 10.4, and then recommending users don't use it? [alert admin]

Pando 1.5.0.0 (Mac OS X)
It is still impossible to select a specific email address to send to for Contacts with more than one email address in Address Book. I've notified Pando about this many times over the last six months, and they still haven't fixed it. [alert admin]

Get File Path 3.0 (Mac OS X)
The download is 4mb, the uncompressed application is over 11mb in size!!
I have dozens of far more complex, and full-featured apps on my Mac much smaller than this! For instance, File Buddy is 1.7mb and has hundreds of features.
Try one of these alternatives, which are less than 1mb and free:

Keyword Manager 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)
At $19 I skipped purchasing this. But at $12 I just paid - and I think it is definately worth it and a much fairer price. Kudos to the developers for listening to feedback and being willing to try a discount period. I played with it for over an hour last night and I must say, its even better than I originally thought after trying the demo. It really does make keyword tagging a pleasure rather than a chore, and enabled me to quickly add many more keywords to my photos. It is a huge step up in usability over Ken's Keyword Assistant. Perhaps you should look up the definition of Shareware. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shareware Shareware is "copyrighted commercial software that is distributed without payment on a trial basis". That accurately describes how Espresso is distributed. There is nothing to suggest software can only be shareware if its priced under a certain amount. Before accusing people of lying, at least check your facts.

Because the W810 has been natively supported by iSync since 27th June 2006 when iSync 2.3 was released as part of the Mac OS X 10.4.7 Update, available for free from Apple.

Unfortunately, this is a limitation of the way the calendar in Sony Ericsson phones handles the clocks changing - all Sony Ericsson phones do it. Currently there is no workaround. All you can do is to re-sync the phone after the clocks change. This issue is mentioned on the Support pages.

I think you have misunderstood the function of the supplied "Reset Address Book Pairing" utility. All it does, is make Address Book forget which Bluetooth mobile phone it is currently paired with, allowing you to choose another for SMS and Call functions. This is a feature which Apple has not included in Address Book. As Skype sends SMS messages via its own network, not via a Bluetooth mobile phone, it has no effect on Skype's SMS function. I…

The Address Book Enabler is not supposed to, nor should it, remove any of Skype's functionality. So this is not something that needs fixing. If you don't want some of Skype's features, you should un-install or disable them. It would not be right for any one companies software to remove another companies softwares features.

Unfortunately, LG have not bothered to implement the industry standard SyncML protocol for syncing into their phones like Sony Ericsson, Nokia, Motorola etc. have.
Until they do that, there will never be iSync support for LG phones
It's always advisable to check for iSync compatibility before purchasing a new phone.

Have you made sure you are running the very latest firmware on your phone? Anything earlier than the following won't work: Phone: R9G007 Bluetooth: R5A01 Organizer: R6D23 Also, performing a Master Reset seems to have helped some people.
