Deja Vu 3.2.1 (Mac OS X)

Deja Vu 3.2.1

I seriously disagree with those who are knocking this product. I have used it on a daily basis for over six months. I have had virtually no trouble with it since I put the learning curve behind me. The only exception was yesterday. I had a problem with the 3.2.1 update. The forum was down, so I used the email support address that is plainly displayed on the publisher's web site. FYI, it is dejavu@propagandaprod.com. I received a response within just a few hours of sending my help request together with a link to a download that cured my problem. I rate the responsiveness and quality of the service from this company as excellent because that has been my experience every time I've needed an assist. No exceptions. I have had a wonderful experience with Deja Vu. My backups have saved my skin several times as I have navigated the string of updates associated with OS X. I cannot say enough good about Deja Vu. IPNetRouterX 1.1c4 (Mac OS X)

Tiger compatible and rock solid

I've tested this version on OS X 10.4.0. Both my gateway and LAN computers (PCs and Macs) have no problem at all accessing Internet via browser and email. I've tried a variety of web sites and this update appears rock solid. I've used various versions of IPNR and IPNRX for about 7 years. The best part about the product is that it's virtually invisible nearly all the time. It does its job well without getting in the way. [alert admin]

Great product but developer seems to have vanished

The author may feel threatened by the new Time Machine software feature of the upcoming new Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. Perhaps he's working on a new project and is checking in just to make sure the web site is up. I fear that Deja Vu may be approaching an unannounced end of life. If we don't hear from him, I'll wait for system 10.5 and use Time Machine as a replacement.

Junkware ...

If you're running Panther, I believe that you should be running version 3.0.2 and not 3.2.1. Tiger made a lot of changes in software requirements. I'm not an expert, but you might want to check it out with tech support at dejavu@propagandaprod.com

install worked OK here

Site 3 was the best one for me--faster and with no hesitations.
