zxsp 0.7.1.pre10 (Mac OS X)
This is fab! I love that there are people out there who do this stuff & for free too - it really is fantastic! Thanks very much for letting me re-live my youth. I STILL haven't completed Knight Lore (but I surely will one day), & its great for Manic Miner, Monty Mole & all my other favourite Speccy games. No waiting for tapes now & my ZX can stay in the loft. Superb - thanks. [alert admin]

PhoneAgent 1.2.6 (Mac OS X)
No support for S700i - Still!!!
I'm a registered user of this software. 18 months ago they promised full support for the S700i would be coming 'soon'. Since then there have been 4 major updates & still no support for this phone - scandalous! Below is a copy of the email they sent me 18 months ago... Hi, I am very glad that you like our product. Thank you. PhoneAgent does not officially support support the S700i (yet) - however we are working on the support, so I hope it will be added soon and these problem will be fixed. Best regards, Peter Koren MacMedia Csl. armady 8 040 01 Kosice It works great with the supported phones, but I am VERY disappointed they still havent added full support for the S700i. Phones released much later (W800i etc) have been added in the meantime, which really rubs salt in the wound - especially if they were'working on it' Please please please sort it out - it can't be that hard! ChessPuzzle 1.4.1 (Mac OS X)
Brlii for learning but...every attacking mate move seems to be sacrificing your queen - which stops you looking for other moves after a while. Opened my eyes a bit though & makes me realise how truly crap I really am at this great game! Keep it up Geoff [alert admin]

PhoneAgent 1.2.3 (Mac OS X)
Aaaaagh - Still no S700i support!!!
A minor niggle is starting to become a serious complaint. This software STILL doesn't support the S700i - I've been waiting nearly a year now! It's one of Sony Ericssons most popular phones & has been out much longer than the S750i. Come on guys, sort this out as it's otherwise excellent software, but I can't use a lot of the functions (card reader & picture import to name a couple) & I'm feeling hard done by & short changed. Still waiting patiently Geoff [alert admin]

PhoneAgent 1.2.2 (Mac OS X)
Hi, Thanks for the tiger compatability update, but i've been waiting six months for full support of the S700i - one of the most popular Sony Ericsson phones on the market. Please please sort this out soon. Thanks Geoff [alert admin]

CyTV 0.5.1-pre10 (Mac OS X)
Fantastic. It works brilliantly with wirebased ethernet network. Wireless (airport extreme), just doesn't seem quick enough & it stutters & pasues all the time. Great job - many thanks [alert admin]

Speed Download 3.0.5 (Mac OS X)
Too many updates - And doesn't always launch ![]()

I have used speed download for about two years now & quite like it. However the update rate is ridiculous. In March alone there have been SIX updates - SIX!!! That's one every five days! If this continues, there will have been over 70 updates to this software in a year - madness! Everytime I go to download a file I get the update window popping up - very frustrating. Also, many sites I visit (www.mobile9.com for instance), dont activate Speed download when transfers commence, so half my downloads end up on my desktop, the other half end up in Speed download folder. When I was on dialup, this software was vital for being able to resume large downloads that had lost connection. On broadband its not nearly as important & with all these updates it's becoming a nuisance too. [alert admin]

FruitMenu 3.3 (Mac OS X)
Beware the word 'Haxie' - it's just a clever way of saying Hack! Why hack your OS when 'Classic Menu' does exactly the same thing, but leaves your OS well alone. A plethora of unstable Mac OS X systems have been caused by the APE plugin - so I'd steer well clear of anything that uses it. Shape Shifter is another 'Haxie' that can kill your system - beware the Hacks! [alert admin]

SMS Mac 0.9.4 (Mac OS X)
You are right, I did not realise that this was an independant SMS service, which required no phone - sorry. Still way too expensive to be of any use to most users though. ICQ have offered free SMS through their service for ages. I can send an SMS cheaper from my phone than I can if I were to use this software & that has to be nuts! I suppose this might not be the same globally (i'm in the UK), but otherwise I can't see why anyone would need to use a pay per text service. [alert admin]

SMS Mac 0.9.4 (Mac OS X)
I'm sure this software works fine, but other apps offer this & more for FREE! Apple's Address book already allows you to send SMS. Other free SMS software includes...BluePhoneMenu, ICQ, MegaXellX & Ultra SMS to name but a few. Cheaper shareware includes the excellent GSM Remote X which also allows you to manage your contacts too. Thanks for the App, but at 17 euros, there is just no call for it. Geoff [alert admin]

Gosh, I don't mean to be rude but if you don't get along with this I'm not sure you'll get along with anything. It's about as easy as it can get. I'm no genius, but I've never had to consult the manual & it saves me hours of time creating my auctions. Really is a 'No brainer' Click on 'new auction' template in the template bar. Enter the item for sale in the Title Add any images using the…

Because the standalone version (Conbo updater) has all the updates from OS 10.4 to 10.43 & can apply them in one go (without having to first apply the 10.41 & 10.42 updates). As previously mentioned, the incremental update (found in you software update), only updates from 10.42 to 10.43, so is therefore a lot smaller in size. Had you been running OS10.41 on your Mac, then the combo updater would have shown in your Software Update…

Hi, A similar thing happened to me a while back & it turned out to be corrupted Jave. try reinstalling the latest version of Java (v1.42 I think), which can be downloaded from Apples website. This should hopefully sort you out. JazzyGB1

Not with Samsung SGH-e715 & Data Cable
DO NOT GET INFRARED - it wont work with OSX. You probably just need to download the Mac driver for your cable. You need the 'Prolific USB Cable driver' which can be downloaded at http://www.taniwha.org.uk/. It's a yellow link immediately above the 'other useful files' section on the site. Hope this helps - Good luck!
