Synthimax 1.3 (Mac OS X)

Limited Use Even In Registered Version

I was able to use this for a few short hours, and I registered it seeing how much it met the criteria I was seeking in a pattern generating application. Now, though, I simply cannot get into the application. It shows a brief dialog box that I can't even read before it shuts off...something about the document being read-only. As I have severely limited income because of my disability, I believe that this as it stands right now is $30 regrettably squandered. That such a sum IMO is too steep for an app that simply should not malfunction as described above ought to go without saying. I'm this close to requesting a cancellation of the charges billed to my charge plate. [alert admin]

Bliss Saver 2.3.4 (Mac OS 9)

Purchasing Issues

When the process sends me to the payPal site, it inexplicably prompts me to add a new credit/debit card. It will not allow me to purchase the update with either of the cards I already have. I was really intent on getting the updates to this and Space Garden Meditations via e-mail. Unfortunately I cannot proceed till this matter clears up. [alert admin]

Ultragroovalicious 1.1 (Mac OS X)

Thanx & Suggesitons

This is just a public thank-you to Forrest for addressing my previous problem. This is definitely a work in progress; and IMO much has been made for this early a version. A few ideas I'd like to see: 1. Separate downloads for new effects. 2. Allow for the movements of each on-screen effect to react to the input, i.e. the louder the signal, the faster something moves or gyrates across the screen. 3. Maybe there can be some way to allow more than one background color. 4. A configurable Autopilot mode would be useful. One Skinny Drawback: If I press W once too often (like three times IIRC), the display goes from pretty fast to almost-hectic. [alert admin]

Ultragroovalicious 1.1 (Mac OS X)

Problem Obtaining Registered Version

I've tried twice before paying the $10 fee for v1 thru Paypal, yet I haven't received any confirmation. Tonight is the third time I've done this. Just a bit curious as to the nature of the delay, as others have reported no issues with customer service. [alert admin]

Am I to understand...

...that even though I registered for the program when I bought an earlier version, I have to buy it again in order to obtain a different password? [alert admin]

Amazing Slow Downer 2.6.3 (Mac OS X)

From A Registered User

This latest iteration crashes in all circumstances on my flat-screen iMac (OS 10.2.8). I play a file, crap. I load a music CD, crap. I lower the settings, crap. I regret having trashed the previous build and not leaving well enough alone. I can't recommend using it as it is right now till they resolve these issues. [alert admin]

WhiteCap 4.5.5 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

'Sme Again With Good News

...and its name is Pacifist. This is *the* workaround for all of us who are having Installer /pkg file issues. Basically (BTW it can be found here at VersionTracker), this will allow you to custom install whenever there are standard Installer app issues. It directed all my WhiteCap 4.5.5 files into the proper iTunes directory just swell and I have no problems with it. Anyway, I now have WC in my iTunes vis folder and am now...pacified. [alert admin]
