thanks for your insight re: port 453. I have the same issue as "Tyaris Major" - many, many PC's but nothing *at all* shows up. Don't know about the rest of you, but I have *NO* control over server settings, can Gordon add an option to allow me to control the port number it uses? Are there any work arounds to paranoid network security people who reject port 453? [alert admin]

of the best software outfits out there. I've been using the beta version Igor Pro Carbon on Mac OS X for quite some time now, and it has never crashed on me. The abilities of this software are astounding, and the user support is incredible (mailing list: ). You can't do any better than this program for professional graphing (publication quality) and data analysis. [alert admin]
