the system requirements carefully. The older iMacs do not have voice-capable modems, and hence this software cannot perform the functions of a conventional speakerphone. For less than $100, you can get a Panasonic Cordless with most of the same features as this software. I — like Apple Computer — have basically "given up the ghost" on telephony. [alert admin]

15, 2002 Nice program for designers sucks for prepress take 2 to 3 times longer to do jobs. Quark can do just as good if you know what your doing with less problems! >>>> You are so right! QuarkXPress is for the pros, and that's why so many major publishers use it. I have yet to have any output problems with CORRECTLY built QuarkXPress files. When I gave ID 2 a spin on an associate's Macintosh, I see it has lots of things pleasing to the eye, but QuarkXPress is still more reliable, and handles PDF export a lot better than InDesign. QuarkXPress 5.01 (Mac OS 9)
DID find the valid copy of 5.0 on the Mac, it begins to update then terminates with an error. Not much point of having a "fix" updater than isn't even fixed itself. [alert admin]

Totally Awesome, Dudes!....the… 
best version ever. Runs faster than PS 6.01 on a G4/400 running 9.2.2. A bit cheap on the stock art, though...it's the same images from the PS 6.0 CD. [alert admin]
