Default Folder X 4.0.1 (Mac OS X)
I've been using Default Folder since the '90s. With Default Folder, your favourite and recently used folders are one click away. Without it, Mac folder navigation in Open and Save dialog boxes is a real clunker - all that clicking and clicking and selecting and clicking, just to get to the folder you were in a second ago. Working on a Mac without DF is like going back to the dark ages of Mac OS. [alert admin]

AudioFinder 4.5.6 (Mac OS X)
Nothing comes close for auditioning and sorting the thousands of samples we have on our computers these days. Absolutely indispensible, regularly updated, and well worth the shareware fee. [alert admin]

Default Folder X 2.0.2 (Mac OS X)
I've been using DefaultFolder since System 9 days. It's the first extra software to be installed on all my computers and I couldn't imagine having to navigate Save and Open dialog boxes without it. [alert admin]
