Safari New Tab Button 4.0 (Mac OS X)
Don't need to "try" this.... duh
There is no "New Tab" button in Customize ToolBar. However, double clicking the Tab bar,or Command-T gives you a new blank Tab. Why in the world would you want a New Tab with your Home page in it? When I want a New Tab, I have a specific reason for want it. If I want my Home page, I just click the Home Page button. I agree, 99ยข is way too much to pay for functionality that's already built in to Safari, and has been there for several years. [alert admin]

The Print Shop 2.0.6 (Mac OS X)
Without a try and buy demo version.... I'm not giving away $70 for the possible pleasure of having software I don't or can't use. Developer.... heads up... put a time limitation on full-use to try before buy, and you'll sell a lot more of these. [alert admin]

LockDown 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Tried this on three files. The simplest one was a single page .rtf file. I got an error message on all files. Alum/Black 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo iMac, 4 gbRAM, running Leopard 10.5.2 Don't waste your time. [alert admin]

WifiSmtp 1.1.1 (Mac OS X)
The goofy alert sounds notified me that this is a solution looking for a problem, and somebody built this with little thought other than to be cutesy. There are so many OTHER ways of sending email from a hotspot. I agree with the poster who said, "don't give anyone a reason to lock you out of their wifi spot". bill [alert admin]

This software is so amazingly versatile. It has the tools, and flexibility to work however the user works....not in a way dictated by the authors own workflow. It has the features to allow you to organize your recipes, methods and techniques the way you want. Ultimately useful! Amazing!!! [alert admin]

Safari Selection to Mail Message 1.0.2 (Mac OS X)
any simpler than just copying and pasting? With the numerous splash screens that come up that have to be acknowledged, or that add text... using this script in Mail, adds MORE time than just copying and pasting between Safari and Mail. This is a solution without a problem. Badly/Poorly implemented, with all the extraneous splash screens, and worth every penny you pay for it. I tried it, not just once, but 4 times. The only way this would be useful, is to go into the Editor and remove all the extraneous junk. Even then, its still just simpler to copy and paste. [alert admin]

A Cook's Books 0.8.6.4 (Mac OS X)
I've been using this software for several months, and it is amazingly powerful, if you just take the time to LEARN how to use it. All features are not yet implemented, but in 19 years of being a Mac Consultant and Support person, as well as Sys Admin for design firms....I've NEVER met a developer that was so responsive and quick to add features that the users wanted, suggested or just thought would be "nice" to have. Prior to this, I used MasterCook, and with their departure from the Mac platform, experimented with several other OS X products. None, NOT ONE came within an ACE of holding a candle to ACBK!!! It IS a work in progress; so don't walk into this looking for some slick graphics and whizbang stuff. This is a great management tool. Period. Publishing and other tools will come. The developer is ONE (1) guy, working ALL of his free time to make this a GREAT piece of software. We have talented amateur cooks on the list, as well as some professional, working chefs. If I had 3 hands, it would get Three Thumbs up!!! Recommended?? Absolutely!!! [alert admin]

You flatter yourself on the value of your work, and your hourly rate. Just based on the description you supplied AND the two comments/reviews already posted, I can tell you there are far better, more versatile, less expensive products out there that will do what this program does, and far more. A negative 5 stars!!! [alert admin]

There never has been any customer Service at Formac. You pay your money, and then NEVER EVER hear from them again. Regardless of how often you try to contact them. This has been there modus operandi for at least the last 4 years or more. Bill
