Skype 1.5.0.48 (Mac OS X)
Yes it's still Beta. And the list of changes, bug fixes is long and welcome. Are they finished improving Skype? Nope, not by a long ways. But I like it so far. Bought a Skype USB phone and enjoy the calls even more. Free is good. How much do you pay each month for your cell phone? Is that phone and service perfect? Didn't think so. Cell phones and their service are Beta too ... they just don't tell you up front, like Skype. [alert admin]

not nearly as stable for me as the previous version. Three freezes in three different activities in the first 24 hours. It's back to OmniWeb for me until the next update. [alert admin]

Sawmill 6.3.10 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
a good log tool, but it crashes EVERY time I quit the application whether using the menu or keyboard command. Sent a crash log report to the developer a week ago with no reply. Not exactly grand in this regard, but I rated n/a because it is a highly useful tool when running. Just have to be careful on Log Out that Sawmill has completed it's crash and the console has finished. Otherwise ... more trouble. Hope this is fixed soon. [alert admin]

Thoth 1.5.0 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
what code Thoth is base on. It is MUCH more stable than MT-NewswatcherX 3.2. And the feature set is way beyond MT-NW. Thoth is well worth the price of admission. [alert admin]

FWB BackUp ToolKit 3.0.7 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
"FoldersSynchronizer". Yes, it's shareware, but it's been working flawlessly for me for several months on OS X. I actually use it in backup mode, although it will (obviously) sync folders as well. [alert admin]

Palm Reader 1.0 (Palm OS)
first ebook that uses the Palm Reader, and I'm hooked. Nice, clean interface with just enough enhancements to make the read effortless and fun. It reads Doc files as well, and you can't beat the (free) price. [alert admin]

The DialPad is at the bottom of the screen listed as "Call ordinary phones." It's a little more functional with an external link to calling rates.
