HealthEngage Diet+Fitness 3.7 (Mac OS X)
HealthEngage is a system with many modules, diet, exercise, glucose etc. for desktop, handheld and the web. Those pieces can be put together to form new programs specifically for a new disorder. The fact that many items are common for users who are trying to lose weight, have diabetes, asthma etc. or that they look similar does not mean anything negative and in fact means that there is flexibility for users who can use all or jut a few of the modules, which no other program offers. When you purchase a license the license allows for use on 1 cpu per version of the software at a time so use on 1 handheld device per handheld software license and 1 desktop computer per desktop software license. Bottom line is there is a free demo for you to download and try, as almost 4,000 Version Tracker users have already done, and see if it is right for you. [alert admin]

HealthEngage Diabetes 3.7 (Mac OS X)
I think some things need to be clarified because some of the comments I believe are unfair. First of all there is a fully functional demo available for you to try before you purchase so nobody should feel that they got any surprises with the software. Secondly, problems with connectivity with the meters are due to problems with the meters themselves and the fact that they were never ever designed to work with a Mac and we had to spend considerable time and effort, with no assistance from the meter companies, to get them working on the Mac. That being said if you are using certain USB devices they may conflict with the meter driver and may need to be unplugged. This solves meter connectivity problems 99% of the time. We do have a Windows version of the software which does not have these problems but wanted to support Mac Diabetics who had no other software options. Thirdly, the graphics and layout of the product have been approved by Apple's UI guru's as complying with Apple's interface guide. The software was meant as a usable tool for diabetics who have to use it many times a day. Cluttering it with a lot of images and bells and whistles does not help diabetic users especially those with vision problems. Fourthly, when a user e-mails a new feature we have 90% of the time added it in the next update. I don't know of any software company who tries as hard to be responsive to the needs of its users. Every tech support e-mail is answered though sometimes it may take a few days because licensed user inquiries are handled ahead of demo users. Most of the time support issues can be handled by reading the user guides or support information. Fifthly, the software is not buggy or unstable in any way and is in fact in use in hospitals and clinics around the world and has been for several years having been tested and certified for use in professional healthcare settings. If you are a diabetic and a Mac user we only ask that you download the demo and see if it is right for you as over 3,000 Version Tracker users have already. [alert admin]

Overly Rstrictive User Agreement
That's simply not true. It is per cpu, 1 cpu on your desktop and 1 on your handheld device.

No diabetics on THAT development team!
We have advisory panels of leading doctors, nurses, and diabetics who review and sign of on every aspect of the software. We also have several employees who are diabetics and use the application on a daily basis, including one who uses it with her 18 month old daughter.
Font size and display is controlled by the Displays control panel and Apple even has special software for visually impaired users.
E-mail support requests are replied to Monday-Friday…
