Avast Antivirus 2.74 (Mac OS X)
This software is worse than the viruses it claims to guard against. I have had nothing but problems from the moment of installation. I bought it based on the reviews, boy was I wrong! It causes mail to crash at least twice a day, forcing me to rebuild my entire mail database at a cost of several minutes. It eats up a huge amount of CPU. It is poorly configureable. There is no way to easily turn it off or uninstall it. I can only minimize, not hide it, and the scans are incredibly slow. All I want now is to get it off my computer and to warn everyone from ever giving these people money for this awful product. [alert admin]
