I don't think that ChordMate and Guitar Shed are competing products. They have completely different goals. ChordMate helps you find the right chords for your music. Guitar Shed seems to focus on helping you play once you know exactly what you want to play. It has a chord dictionary, but that dictionary seems to have only one chord voicing per chord.
