MoneyWorks 3.0.4 (Mac OS 9)
exceptional program, well written, very adaptable, fast and easily integrated with other databases. Features I especially like are the Qif imports, Applescipt integration, Departments/Categories and easily adapted reports. I used MYOB for 9 years before changing and quite honestly you wouldn't get me back to that slow bloatware in a pink fit.n [alert admin]

star off for the latest version. Still no decent search within a country mile of this program and now it's added mindnumbing slowness as well. You expect graphics programs to get the litlle thing twirling but to have an accounting program do it is just bad programming. The computers I'm using are mid range and memory is large, so it's a program fault. MYOB is a piece of crap. [alert admin]

1986 program that badly needs an overhaul - unfortunately this company is not up to it. The Australian sales of this program drive this product but we're being stripmined by the owners. Deserves to go out of business and will. Things it doesn't do are numerous - won't search on anything but the first letters fo the company name (forget searching on address or city or contact), wont import qif files and won't tell you why (0 imported, 0 mistakes, 0 something else) won't allow certain reports until you've closed off the year, won't do GST properly, won't export/import most things you want to (ie invoices, payments on invoices etc) won't script with other programs etc etc etc. Don't buy it.
