Great, but missing something simple...
Love this program for converting flac files but the metadata functions are just poorly thought out. Really, you've got to remember to press the Option key to edit text??? This program seriously needs a "Transfer existing Metadata" button or check-box so that this is transferred from one format to the next without a bunch of time-wasting editing. Maybe someday this will be fixed. [alert admin]

Does not remember window location! 
8.1 and now 8.2 does not remember window postition between launches. Please fix this as everything else is an improvement over version 6 & 7... [alert admin]

Radar In Motion 2.5.3 (Mac OS X)
Version Tracker link does'nt work either...
Downloading via the Versontracker link still downloads 2.5.2 instead of the 2.5.3 version as posted. Please fix this, this is the best and most useful widget I use and a fix would be much appreciated! [alert admin]

When trying to update from the widget, the download links on the website just download the 2.5.2 version, not the 2.5.3 version! Problem not solved.... [alert admin]

VectorWorks 2008sp2 (Mac OS X)
Version number reported is incorrect!
VT 4.5 on the Mac reports version no. following sp2 update as 13.0.1 (82099) It should report version as 2008sp2. This needs to be fixed to reflect actual "my version" installed and actual "current version" columns! [alert admin]

Apple Security Update 2007-005v1.1 (Mac OS X)
My OS 10.4.9 server showed this update in the software update app and I updated my server. This update hosed my DNS, Website and email system. DO NOT USE WITH SERVER! Trying to remove this update and get back up on line. [alert admin]

Looks like the developer is gone too as the web site is no longer available. Kuwan.net is dead so I guess the product is too. Too bad, it was helpful for apps that did not have any spell checking capability. [alert admin]

Broken as of 4/07 Security Update
Registration fails once the OS X 10.4 security patch is installed. Product asks for registration info following patch installation but fails to register when entering information. Needs to be updated to a Universal version as well. [alert admin]

You need to go to their site and download a file named "TechTool Pro 5 Patch". This fixes the auto update problem you describe. Worked for me for the new version just today!

You are absolutely correct, no update or mention of it on the website. Using the "Check for Update" command says "you have the most current version... Why is this posted if it does not exist?

Tech Support? What Tech Support?
I had the same thing happen to my G5 this week! Running 4.04 and booting off my CD I ran all the diagnostics and then went to do a full defrag which requires journalling to be turned off. I ran the defrag which took 6 hours+ on my 250mb drive and at the last block that was to be moved the little flashing green light turned RED. At that point I went back to check…
